I have a friend who is telling me that Garcinia cambogia containing hydroxycitric acid is the best thing since sliced bread to help lose weight. She even says Dr. Oz approves of it. I have looked at it but I don't see much that really confirms anything 'good' I have heard...

    I wouldn't care for anything "approved" by Dr. Oz. He's become too commercilized. He know's his audience and he's milking it.
    By the way why do you even care? You've made it to 84 lbs without it?

    I don't like to use things like this. Was just curious to see what the community might say. Would like to convince to not use it. I do fell Dr Oz is to ready to approve of something!

    Personally after trying so many things that he's suggested and having them not work...I'm so skeptical of anything he promotes anymore. I wouldn't try it unless it's specifically doctor suggested and if you REALLY need it. Clearly you're doing fine without it. Save your money :)

    the only thing that has worked for me is exactly what I'm doing...watching my calories and eating at a reasonable deficit and getting some exercise for my fitness.

    I agree with you all - will try to convince my girlfriend that healthy eating and exercise is the ticket. :tongue:
