I just edited my post to answer your question. Basically, you're in! Just a reply that you're joining and post weekly to stay accountable. I keep a running tally by week number of my weight and cut and paste weekly. But whatever format you're comfortable with. Welcome!

Thank you for starting this thread. I am on day 2,733 lol. I quit drinking and smoking, and any mind-altering substances over 7 years ago. My life has improved immensely. Food is still a struggle and source of temporary comfort for me. I'm heavier than ever and wish desperately to get myself under control. I try to combat…

I'm amazed by the progress you all made! Wow!

I've had my thyroid checked in the past. It's normal. I just have a 39 year old stubborn metabolism

I have my annual physical tomorrow. Ugh. Not looking forward to it. I love my doctor because he doesn't sugar coat anything, but I know I need to lose weight. I'm working on it. And of course my monthly hormones are not working in my favor. The scale went up 3 lbs in 2 days. But I'm not letting it get me down (like i have…

Sugar free, fat free pudding, dark chocolate mini pieces...i put them in the freezer. When I tried Atkins years ago there was a dessert recipe of ricotta cheese and cocoa powder. I added coconut extract. If you're trying to stay away from artificial sweeteners, maybe add a touch of honey or agave nectar? I too get sweet…

If your crockpot has a glaze on the ceramic (every one I've seen has, otherwise everything liquid would absorb into the ceramic bowl, stain it) fat won't absorb into it. If its shiny, glassy... it has glaze. P.S. I'm not a chef or a crock pot expert but I am an artist, art teacher and know my way around ceramics, glaze,…

Sugar hits me hard too. It's truly an addictive chemical. If I'm gonna cave and stray... It's chocolate or ice cream every time. Stay strong!

I quit cold turkey 5 (?) years ago. Things that helped, eating sunflower seeds with the shell... kept my mouth and hands busy. Takes time to eat them. Also, i found these toothpicks at the natural food store that are flavored tea tree or cinnamon, also keep my mouth and hands busy. As a reward, I totally cleaned out my…

Everyone is doing so well! I totally fell off. I rededicated myself just after Christmas and have been making healthy choices, started a 30 day yoga challenge (on day 5 and going strong). I've realized SO MUCH of my weight loss struggles are mental and emotional. I'm taking it one day at a time, congratulating myself on my…

I'm in the same position but I have 1 child. I'll be 39 in May 😦. I'm looking to lose 60 lbs. I'll friend you!

@echoroyal79 I do Rob Nevin's Slim Nation (used to be called living lean). My first time with his program, I was pregnant. It kept me from gaining too much weight, I gained about 20 lbs with my daughter. I gained far more after she was born, not doing any plan. It's a 3 day carb cycle plan, high protein, low carb, lower…

For the past 10 days, I've been able to prep meals and stick to my meal plan about 85-90%. Damn those Lindt Lindor truffles Santa brought me in my stocking. But even those, at most I've had 3 at a time. I brought cookies to my meeting to get them out of my house and everyone ELSE ate them. I'm on day 4 of 30 day yoga…

Absolutely! She's awesome. In the beginning, if not familiar with yoga lingo, you'll find yourself stopping and looking at the screen to see what she's doing but you'll pick it up quickly. Pause video as needed but the poses get repeated so you'll get the hang of it. She's great about giving optional adjusted, easier poses…

Hello Moana! Tips? I'm still a novice but go at your own pace. Whenever I'm out of practice, I feel so tight and stiff but doing it regularly, I'm amazed how quickly my flexibility and strength improves. Love your body and give it time to adapt. Yoga should be enjoyable (with some challenge), not painful. Namaste!

today TOTALLY felt like a Monday!

Just finished day 1 of 30 day yoga journey via Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. Completed this journey last year and LOVED it. My trusty tubby sidekick, Kung Pow Kitty by my side.

SO here's my PF story: I tried all the at home treatments, medical tape wraps, insoles, stretches, iced water bottles rolled under foot, etc. Night splint (boot) was the only thing that gave some relief. Finally, I went to a podiatrist, diagnosed PF, try physical therapy. PT was the BEST thing I ever did. My PTherapist…

Ah! Hard boiled eggs! I always forget about those lol. Thanks for the reminder! I love premier protein shakes, they're pre-made, liquid. 1 gm sugar, 160 calories, 30 gm protein, and they taste good...not chalky and no aftertaste.

The meal plan was created based on foods that I like but that was before I had a kid lol. I do tend to get to work early and I have a microwave, fridge, toaster oven. Perhaps I can heat up my breakfast and eat at work? I was thinking of making eggs in a muffin tin so they're ready to reheat. I have all my meals saved in…

Hello! My name is Juli, I have a 2.5 year old daughter. I struggle with a constant cycle of: eat good for a minute, eat bad for longer, feel guilty, self-sabotage, repeat. I've managed to give up alcohol, cigarettes, and other dry goods for almost 7 YEARS! So why do I continue to EAT alcoholically? Why do I think it is…

I'm with you! I'm ready to not let past failures continue to ruin my future. In WW, people who struggled with nighttime eating tried starting tracking your calories with dinner then breakfast lunch of the following day instead of breakfast lunch dinner. Might help?

Damn girl. That's awesome!!!
