Wow can't believe what a bad place I was in. Weird reading this back, happy and healthy

youre pretty much on the money. the slimming world consultant humiliated me in group because i have maintained for 3 weeks and accused me of eating too much and spoiling my baby. on top of my depression i have taken the experience very badly and its made me want to starve as i was genuinely following plan. im thinking more…

Honestly guys, the responses here are great. I'm not nursing (in many ways i wish I was especially since it is meant to burn 500cals a day but its not something my body allowed me to do) The logical side of me is aware that everything you are saying is true and im trying my best to focus on that side xxx

Some of the syns don't make sense either you're only allowed 15 syns a day and things like avacado are classed as a syn alongside chocolate... i always thought avacado was very good for you. 1 avacado is 3 syns. porridge oats are limited to 35g and if you want more fibre it must by syned.

I dont really know what resources exist so i assumed as he only suggested tablets that was the only option

i am yes. i visited the doctor today. he just didnt seem to understand i was trying to explain, i said she is just so much hard work. his reply was ' thats babies im afraid and it only gets worse' he did give me anti depressants but after researching the side effects i have decided not to take them. i was hoping for non…

Thanks everyone. I decided to delete post as ive and soaked myself in the negativity for 4 days now. (it happened monday). The approach is obviously not helping. I lost 5 stone once, through this site. Eating healthy and loving myself. Dorina the slimming world consultant is still a big lady so if it's that amazing why…

I'm also really depressed and at rock bottom so comments like that just make m,e think what's the point in reaching out

Sorry skinnyfitmella I wrote this post with one hand and a crying baby in my arms as i stated at the bottom. I know it's long and erratic but I'm very emotional and upset. It's difficult to type with one hand on a touch screen phone or at least i struggle.

I know it's counter productive, but the way I was treated was so horrible I was so humiliated and I guess I want the chance to be able to leave with some pride. I know I shouldnt care.
-
Yep it's part of your 'free' foods which you can eat unlimited... yet you can only have 45g of fibre and limited milk. they got very defensive when i questioned it
-
thanks guys i know the post is long but i needed to vent. i know mfp is the way forward but i still feel i dont want them to win

I had my first at 19. Anyone who says it didn't hurt is lying or using numbing cream, the level/severity of pain however is quite subjective.

That I have 40 hours worth of tattoos ;)
-
My starting weight was 11lb heavier than OP, and I have similar weight loss goals. My very large tattoo has shrunk along with me just fine and I will never need lipo! that's what gyms are for....
-
I have a full back piece and I lost my weight ( 67lb ) after having it done, the tattoo has shrunk with my body fine. I was 231 lbs when I first had it done. I also had my stomach/ ribs tattooed in november, I have lost another 10lb since I had it done and plan to lose around 14lbs more. I also had a tattoo on the front of…

looking awesome! did you keep the white t-shirt? It would be great to keep it for your final goal photo :)
-
Hey lady! feel free to add me! I from the UK and I started at 231 lbs so I know what that feels like. I'm 166lbs now and still have some more to lose!
-
uhh.....whutt? seriously though! I'm sure those little snacks won't affect you.
-
I started at 231 and I'm now at 165 but it's so slow! It's just because you don't have the size to accumulate big losses anymore just hang in there, you'll lose the weight.
-
^ unfortunately this is true, at the minute I only lose 1lb every two weeks.
-
There are probably big changes but it's too personal for you to be subjective. The hardest part about losing weight when you have a lot to lose is the first 30 lbs is the least obvious. Your last 30 lbs will make the biggest difference. There will be big changes however, you just probably a little too close to see.
-
'I've done more work over the last two years losing weight than you probably have.' You can't call people rude for making presumptions and make them yourself. In reality I think you're probably overestimating the work you're putting in, underestimating calories. Somewhere inside you you'll be aware that you could be trying…

I can relate. When i first started running I went with my boyfriend the first few times for moral support. Even then I would stop running whenever somebody went by, then wait till they weren't looking and start again. I'm the type of girl who doesn't like to ask the assistant in shoe shops to go get my size out of the…

Oh dear I lost an elephants penis!?
-
hahaha love your phrasing! thank you :)
-
genuinely believe I am big boned. Although I'm 171 lb and 5'7 which is still classed as overweight, my ribs and hip bones are quite defined. I also have huge feet and my actual pelvis is quite wide. But I don't think this should make much difference to weight loss, I still intend to get to my recommended weight.

try weighted hula hooping. It's fun and really targets your abdominal area. Even if it doesn't get you the results you want to see it's a fun work out!

I think it's great that you haven't gone for the usual 1200 calories diet, which I am always against but it does look like you are eating a lot. The comment above me seems like perfect advice for you.
