Love the cold brew from Starbucks. My current fave is a vanilla sweet cream cold brew, grande. About 100 cals.

I do. You could try eating back your calories and see how you do after a few weeks. 1200 is not many calories.

I am 5'8" and currently 168 and a size 12. For me, the low 150's would be awesome -- where I was 18 years ago when I got married. This would be about a size 10. I would be very happy at that size! Hubby is 6'6" so I don't feel tall in my family... :)

I often have 1 tablespoon of regular peanut butter after a meal. It keeps me full longer and about 100 calories. I measure it on my food scale.

I hope I will be pleasantly surprised. Trying to focus in the next 10 days before we leave for vacation. Hoping to eat at maintenance while on vacation. So would like to get a start at a couple pounds before then...

Just finished my first week. SW: 168 CW: 169 Gained 1 lb.

Hello! In my first week here! Hoping to lose 15 lbs!

Spoonfuls of peanut butter? ❤️

Thanks everyone. Since this is my first week I have no idea how eating my exercise calories will work for me. So I will continue eating them! I'm pretty sure my Apple Watch is about as accurate as I will get to account for calories burned. And so far MFP is syncing up exactly with the workouts that are on my watch.

I'd keep doing what you're doing at the colorie range you are at. Seems to be working. I expect that week 3 won't yield as much loss, especially if initial weight loss was some water weight.
-
So if that BMR is accurate at almost 1700, I need to eat at least that? MFP only gives me 1500ish with lightly active and 1 pound/wk loss.
-
I typically was not measuring. And we eat at restaurants a lot. And if the restaurant food is not listed I am just estimating. I can be vigilant about weighing at home but there is going to be restaurant food every week. I'm not sure how to account for those inaccuracies that are bound to come up

Ok I just read one of the helpful posts listed here -- the one on calculating BMR and TDEE. Now I'm very confused. I used the calculator at fat to fit as suggested. BMR: 1693 TDEE: (lightly active): 2217 That is way higher than I could eat to even maintain let alone lose. I would think I would gain weight. Do I need to be…

Thanks for the info. Setting it to 1 lb/week loss gives me 1529 calories. I think I will try that this week plus eat back most of my exercise calories. I have an Apple Watch. Do you recommend linking it so my workouts and steps will automatically be added?

Well 2 days ago there was an update for the Apple Watch. And now it's saying my daily burn is much lower-- too low! Yesterday I had the most "active"calories ever and it said my total burn was 1800. For some reason it's calculating "resting energy" which is basically bmr at 1100. Very weird. I guess I just have to figure…

Thanks again. I redid the spreadsheet and I checked the box of SAHM with one kid. I do have 3 kids, but two are in school. So maybe that is closer to the actual? Also, I estimated 105 minutes total working out minutes for an average of 3-4 times weekly and an average of 30 minutes per session. So my exercise minutes add up…

I guess I'm confused and I'm sure I didn't estimate on the spreadsheet correctly. I gave you access so you can look at it. You still think my potential TDEE could be higher than 2350? Do you think I should slowly increase cals to see where my TDEE is? What I really want to do is lose another 10-15 lbs so when and how…

Thank you heybales! I tried your spreadsheet but I'm a little confused. It's really hard to estimate my minutes of weekly activity so I don't have any idea if what I'm doing is right. I'm not sure if you can see my changes or not:…

I would go more by the wet diapers than by fussing at feedings, unless it is at every feeding. Have you tried pumping a feeding your baby a bottle just to see how much you are making? That makes me feel better if I feel like I might not be making enough milk. More often than not, I pump plenty, even though my boobs do feel…

Hi randi! I am also a mom of 3! Would love to know how you lost the weight! I am breastfeeding too and don't want to lose my supply! Shelly
