You don't have to give up veggies, or fruits, either, really. You just have to eat fruits that are lower in carbs, in moderation. That being said, you do have to be very disciplined... but the results are worth it if you can do that.

Try just going to sleep, that works for me. Or do something to keep your mind and hands busy. Or just... keep some low-cal snacks around. Everyone's made some great suggestions. :)

You're only 18, stop settling.

Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss... best books I've ever read.

More protein, less sodium, sugar, and carbohydrates. Just by looking at your food journal. You should be having 10:1 protein. (For every 10 calories you take in, you should be having at least 1 gram of protein.) Also, you should be eating REAL food, like chicken and beef, eggs, etc. You seem to be eating a lot of "diet"…

Wait... you're down almost 200 lbs in 4 months? Lapband. 12/20/2010. 107 lbs down.

Try adding more protein to your diet is the only advice I could give. Good luck!

Probably somewhere in between, the only way to really know is to go in one of those full immersion tanks like they do on the Biggest Loser. But the scales are pretty accurate, usually within 1-3%.

I'd say travel-size toiletries (hair brush, shampoo, conditioner, body/face wash), a towel, reusable water bottle, swim suit (if you swim), workout clothes, and hair tie, if necessary! That usually gives me everything I need and if you're efficient, you can fit it into a small duffel bag. :)

Welcome to the club! :)

I don't mean to be indelicate... but being that you "only" (I know, sorry!) have 15 lbs to lose, it might take you longer than someone who's starting at a higher weight. Keep at it! Maybe only weigh yourself once a week so you'll be able to see maximum scale reflexions of your hard work. :) Good luck!

Me! Feel free to add! :)

Oy, all these people who knew people, you'd think the whole world was banded. I agree with Nancy, Lapband and Gastric Bypass are NOT THE SAME THING! There is no stomach re-routing with the band, it's much less invasive. Maybe I'm biased. I was banded 12/20/2010, so almost 9 months, and I've lost 82 lbs thus far. I've…

Could definitely be. But your weight will fluctuate alot, it all just depends on how much you're exercising. I know I retain a bit of water after a good workout, but everyone's different.
