I was really embarrassed about going to a gym also because I didn't want everyone to stare at the fat person. So I started out taking classes and hid in the back- still do lol. I appreciate having anyone comment on my weight loss- it makes me feel good that people notice especially because I am working really hard at it and I have already lost 38 lbs. It's also a confidence builder :)

ABSOLUTELY!! Everything in moderation! If you don't treat yourself sometimes you will end up over eating. Just make sure it fits in your daily calories. I am still losing weight even though I eat treats, I refuse to deprive myself of things I like to eat. I also know how to make things work :)

Loup- Yes I think, when one feels ill it's pretty normal to give up certain food groups to see if they are causing problems, if not I am not going to give it up. But you have to try first!! I have really bad IBS- just got out of ER tonight, seen the doctors the last 2 days. I am working on trying to cut dairy because I think it is contributing to my ibs. It's really just a process of elimination.

Thanks everyone! But who said I don't need to be dairy free?? I am having a lot of health issues right now and I think cutting dairy will help me figure out if dairy is causing my problems.

I'm kind of an ocd freak and I can't stand germs because I get sick easily. I always shower afterwards and I sweat like crazy! So I always wipe it off afterwards and if the person on the machine I want to use next does it then I don't wipe it, but if I didn't see someone wipe it off then I will before I use it.
