I'm active and don't have many friends who are also active on here. Feel free to add me as well :) Everyone needs some encouragement and support :)

Been working out 5 days a week for the last 60+ days (and logging in to MFP). Just got a Fitbit Charge HR and looking for some friends :) I'm still new to it all, but it is set up. I'm no expert and still closer to the beginning of my weight loss journey than it's end, so not a work-out pro who will always kick your butt…

The second level of those LS videos I was talking about above, starts using resistance bands. I agree, they are very good! You can set it to what YOU need. Just a little bit of push for you that you can gradually increase at your own speed, without the pain of lifting weights. I can't lift either, and I am loving the bands…

Deff! And it is MOST CERTAINLY a work out! you DO sweat! it's like walking WHILE doing cardio. It's been effective for me thus far! It is a lot more fun, and doesn't seem long and boring. And also easy to do if you have any physical limitations :)

You look great!!!

So much of what the guy above me said! Weekly is best. The only time you should weigh daily is if you are watching for trends in your body weight. Your body weight will ZIG ZAG alllllll the way down. so it will go up and down as it steadily goes down. And like others said, food, too much water retention, clothes, bloating…

Leslie Sansone videos!!!! I have never consistnaly worked out in my entire life, and I have been doing this EVERY day for over a month now. I too have a disability that causes pain (nerve and the like) in the legs/back and this DOESN'T hurt me. It's also VERY motivating. I was able to do it through the very first time…

You look AWESOME! As someone else who needs to lose a large amount of weight, I am curious as to what has been working for you?
-
Unfortunately so true

Awesome! That's good to know! I think she did a fantastic job! She deserves a little recognition, and to help motivate others who need to lose large sums of weight
-
How long has this taken you? You look great :)
-
I haven't been at it long, and I still have a LOTTTTTTT to lose, so please be kind :) This was over the last 3 weeks. Week 1 Week 3 Hopefully I can look as good as some of you one day.

You look great! How long did this take you??

Feeling better, and healthier is ALWAYS good :) As for the chart. It was nice to see. I wish I could remember WHERE I saw it (like what thread it was, since I didn't comment to follow). But it was a man I believe, who had lost a large sum of weight, and you can see his red line go down through the whole thing, but you…

Everyone looks SO amazing!! It seriously give me inspiration! :D

I need to lose about 140. Luckily my LARGE pieces are chest and back (where I am pretty firm).
-
Can I ask how that's working out for your ink? (you look great btw). I have a TON of ink myself, and i'm worried about them while I lose :/
-
This actually kinda what's been working for me. I mean, I don't go stupid and eat Mc D's and crap like that, but i've eaten a 6" turkey sub with the fixings from subway (no sauce), Frozen pizza from the store, chips (pringles or lays baked), a small individual pack of cadbury mini eggs, tacos, nachos etc. Ive lost 18lbs in…

I'm sure you can get back on track :D I'm also having success with her. 15 so far :drinker:

I do good until... With Food: When it's a holiday that requires eating and big "meals" Like Easter (that just passed) With Exercise: When i'm sick or it's that time of the month. I really have to force myself to fight trough it and at least do SOMETHING

Congrats! I've been doing this as well. I obviously have an "end goal" But watching the ticker go from 300, to 290 got me excited, and this morning was 289, so now...it's in the 80's! lol ...Helps make you feel good though
-
How long as it taken you to lose the 21? (good going btw :) )
-
CONGRATS! I know this feeling! I topped out in December at 315 after my last child. As of this morning, I am 289! I was elated, shocked (and almost thought I twas seeing things and the scale was lying) when the ticker moved below 300! Good job, keep it up, and hopefully we can both do it! :D
-
Thanks for all the advice guys! I guess i'll take the day off ;) Now...to get over that guilt and worry that I wont pick it back up again! :P :/
-
I have to give you props just being a big girl and wearing those shoes IN THE FIRST PLACE!....I'd kill myself. LOL
-
I think you're probably right. I just lowered portions, and stayed within my macros on here and i've lost 12lbs in 2 weeks with it. I think the food is the difference :)
-
Thanks for your responses guys! I'm going to try and answer you all in one post ;) I work out at home, so no plague sharing from me hahaha....I do moderate cardio (33mins) and mild strength training. The vertigo is gone, only lasted the day, but it was ONLY yesterday. Don't think flu, more thinking lung infection of the…
