Awesome!

Yes! My legs are sore! Especially my shins & calves. I've always been good at lifting & body pump came naturally to me- I have to really work at running! I'm on Week 2 day 2 so I'm in the early stages of C25K.

Thanks all! That's sort of what I was thinking- cutting out one of my running days. With C25K I'm actually starting to like running- never thought that would happen!

Wow! I am just in awe! Amazing work and you are both so inspirationa! Well done!

Body pump bars are smaller than your average bar in the gym. Just an FYI :-)

I just watched the video and it's exactly what I needed- thank you! Also thanks I almost spit out my water laughing- baby's *kitten*?! Haha! ;-)

Thanks all! I have some reading to do! :-) Yes, my hands are getting calloused! :-/ Boo!

Thanks all! To answer a few questions about my HRM: -it is a HRM specifically for women. It does still ask for gender when setting it up. -it has a chest strap that I wear every workout except swimming of course. -along with gender I entered height, weight, & age. Sounds like HRM will be much closer! I realize its not 100%…

That was my other thought too. Thanks! :-)

Good for you! I bet you've helped others who will come after you. Maybe you made it a little easier for new members who aren't at their ideal sizes from being ridiculed by them- especially if you befriend them and those "ladies" (I use that term loosely) know you'll stand up for them. Also good for the trainer saying…

Just like any other "addiction" knowing you have a problem is the fist step. That can be very difficult to look yourself in the mirror and say "what I'm doing is destructive and it needs to stop". Another huge step is looking for support, you've done that too. So pat yourself on the back for that! Now where do we go from…

Haha too funny! Glad you took the high road, that is not someone you want bringing you down! We work too hard for that! :-)

I know how you feel! I will eat great for a while and exercise and then I fit into a new jean size and BAM I get comfortable where I shouldn't be. I get a few compliments and start eating crap again. Guess what? New jeans no longer fit. Wanted to share my most motivating quotes to STAY WITH IT! You got this! :-) This is…

That is so great! After having baby #2 I finally went from an obese BMI to an overweight one. Means so much more to me than the #s on the scale! Go you!!!

-
Thank you to everyone who responded! Very inspiring & I'm happy to say I went to the grocery store & made some really great choices...ready to add in exercise again tomorrow :)

Love this! :)

I agree! There's family members who aren't sharing your journey so they aren't eating consciously, you have access to not only your own food but time to go out to eat. We think of it as "treating" ourselves so we let it slide one or more times per weekend. I'm not sure what the "magic" answer is so if you guys find it, let…

Best advice I ever got: DON'T WEIGH YOURSELF WHEN YOUR "VISITOR" IS HERE! You'll lose it don't worry! :)
-
So glad I asked first! Going to the store tomorrow to make my own! ;)
-
I had no idea! Thank you for sharing! I haven't eaten there in a long time but the commercial made it look really good! I think I'll just stick to making it at home :)
-
Thanks guys! Looks like Polar is the way to go! I'll take a look & see if I can snag a deal online :)
-
Thanks for the info! Do you remember where you bought it? :)

DOUBLE BUMP! :)

Well, my Dad is a chiro and he thought it was still tendinitis and my husband is a 3rd year medical student and he thinks I need to ice it too. I guess I should go to a "real" doctor though hehe ;) I think you guys are right and I'll try to make an appointment this week!
-
Oh and its only when they are "engaged" for lack of a better term. When I'm sitting or standing they are fine. Its when I'm bending them or going from sitting to standing. Not necessarily exercising but just "using" my knees.
-
Great point! Its a burning pain and both knees. I am wondering if its tendinitis just from I've read but I haven't had anything confirming my theory.
