  • I imagine him h-angrily swatting at his cat siblings. "Get way from me or I'll eat you!" I feel him. I think I'm finally getting past that part where I'm angry at my husband that there aren't cookies in the house, even though that's MY choice.
  • Yes, he's a polydactyl cat. Great paws! Again, I do not own these pictures they're from Bronson's FB page :)
  • your body isn't tolerating something you're eating on those days. Dairy? Eggs? Bread? Do an elimination (treat but no bread a few times, no dairy the next 'treat day' -- i prefer treat because it's more positive ;)
  • Are you eating ENOUGH calories for your body? I tend to not eat enough. I have noticed previously days I ate more healthy calories than I thought I should (pre-dietitian help) I lost weight. Recently asked my dietitian what my goal should be. She said between 1350 and 1450. (I'm 5'6",45, 192, hoping to get back to 145/150.)
  • This post goes into really explaining how MFP calculates. Also helpful info on eating too LITTLE. Which is a problem I tend to have when eating only healthy foods. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10569458/why-eating-too-little-calories-is-a-bad-idea#latest
  • so far i've noticed NOT drinking my whey protein and skim milk every morning and instead consume pea-rice protein and almond milk has significantly reduced the bloating, gassiness and pain i normally have every day. never thought dairy would bother me! Although I should know better since some ancestors had issues with…
  • i just started monday!
  • Another idea...would your company be willing to give you a standing desk? Supposedly you burn more calories standing most of the day. In my case they'd never do it, but it's a neat idea.
  • Hi, I have a similar situation. I drive an 1 to 1.5 hrs to work, sit for 8.5 hours (only get up to use restroom and go to break/lunch). Then sit for 2 more hours driving home. Then of course I sit at the end of the night to watch TV for a bit before bed. I tried walking & jogging at lunch for awhile, but the cold Chicago…
  • Hi, I'm 41. Last year I found myself at the heaviest I've ever been--I was at my top pregnancy weight! I'm 5'6" and was 190. I've always been thinner so this was a shock to my system. I could barely squeeze in my size 14 clothes (I obviously needed a 16) and was having to wear my hubbies size XL t-shirts to cover…
  • i tried that. for one day. i was so hungry I was sure my stomach was eating itself, it hurt so badly. I'd love to know how people do that diet successfully. We should find mfp ppl who have done it, for advice. Unless there are none because they all died from their self-consuming stomach or are imprisoned for eating a loved…
  • Are you eating enough? I have a hard time getting enough "good" calories in when I'm working hard to drop weight (that's why I use MFP to keep track), then I find when I do eat enough the weight drops quickly.
  • if you really want to sacrifice the desserts, I find that just not bringing it into the house solves the problem. I will occasionally buy cookies/treats for the kids that I won't eat (if it doesn't have chocolate, I won't eat it). I'm too lazy to drive to the store at 9 or 10 pm when I'm looking for treats. I may then sit…
