Thanks CJ! I appreciate you asking her!

I agree with you - the tone is rather victim blaming. However, I do think it's important to keep in mind that it's a heck of a lot easier to change your own behavior than to expect others to change theirs. If there are body language cues I can implement to keep men like this away from me, I am certainly interested in…

It took me SO. LONG. to get this through my head. I was raised to be grateful I had food because x-country was starving. I am grateful! ...but I'm also done eating.
-
I'd love to take all of you under my wing. Add me if you like bird puns, I guess.
-
So I don't actually know how to add people... hm.

My advice would be to acknowledge where you're more likely to cheat and plan your day accordingly! For example, I tend to binge at night - and so to counter this, I like to save a lot of my calories for dinner time and eat less in the earlier parts of the day. I also do way better on days I've pre-logged all my food. Find…

Welcome back! I'm a repeat drifter myself, more determined this time around. Good luck!
-
Now that's romantic <3
-
A hawk, I think. That would have been my guess as well. Thanks.
-
Not with that attitude they won't! :) But seriously, why do you say that?

I'm sorry I have no doggos to contribute, but this is my favorite thread ever.

My boyfriend and I like chopping a cucumber into slices and salting them. Sometimes I'll add garlic powder or Adobo seasoning. He's a big fan of raw onions dipped in barbeque sauce. He smells great after that... haha.

My uncle did Beach body, he's in his 60's and loves it.
-
You've got this :)

Hey, I love popcorn too - if you can stomach switching to pre-popped popcorn in the grocery store (like that Wise brand), those nutrition labels are way easier. Good luck!

I think the "quality" of your calories might be coming into play here too. Try not to drink calories too much and avoid candy. A Twix will leave you still feeling hungry. Try to get the most satiety for your calories that you can.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm really proud you went back out again after this happened. This has happened to me before. I changed my walking route for a while. Then, I decided to think of them as a test. If I could keep going after that, then I knew I would accomplish my goals. I wish you the best.
-
I'd say it depends on what your goals are, maybe specify that? But honestly from your post, it sounds like white breads and pastas work for you as your diet currently stands.

What does progressive overload mean? Sorry. Thank you all. Are resistance bands a good start? I don't own weights yet but I do have some bands.

1,200 calories. 1 lb/week. Lost 3 pounds and aiming to be around 125, so five more to go. I exercised mostly with HIIT and bodyweight and light weight training.

A large diet of vegetables will make your gas smell so rancid that you'll wonder if you should go back to processed food for the sake of air quality

I like frozen fruit because you don't have to add ice. My favorite so far has been clementine, vanilla almond milk, and banana. Tastes like a creamsicle to me. :) Edit: I also really like avocado, mint, and chocolate protein powder.
-
I log my vegetables so I can track other macros like fiber and protein accurately.
-
I like a TINY bit of pure maple syrup (it's runnier than normal maple syrup, and frankly tastes better) in my black tea.
-
Just don't turn orange ;)
-
Congrats, you should be proud of yourself!
-
I've never heard of that before, but please do let us know. I'd like to do more at work than sit, too.
-
Cool. Anyway, I've actually seen that exact picture floating around before. I think it's from a model for a lingerie store. If her shape isn't altered at all, she likely has airbrushed cellulite. It's up to you to decide what you think is worth it.
-
Does this mean your hair will also be bacon scented?
-
Diet soda would have been much more interesting.
