Welcome and hello 👋

you say you lost 17 kg in 6 months. That is 17kg in 26 weeks. Sou that is roughly .75 kg per week. So its unrealistic and unlikely that you will lose 1kg per week. You cant punish yourself for gaining that weight back. You have to just climb back on the wagon and start. Trying to makeup for it will just lead to disordered…

my calorie adjustments everyday are about 2000. Fidgeting comes overly naturally to me lol. Sometimes I wish i could stop.

Ok Im not sure how to tag or reply to each person individually. I do have a fitbit and my daily calories are in the range of 3700 to 4000 for the last 2 weeks. I Do Not manually add any exercise in MFP separately just the fitbit adjustments. I do know I need to get a food scale Im just procrastinating because I havent been…

For me I couldnt magine eating 1800 calories its just too low. As an obese woman who works 8 to 10 hours a day on her feet amd has 5 children I refuse to eat under 2000 calories . I dont want to be miserable . I eat between 2000 amd 2700 calories a day and lose 1 to 2 lbs a week.

I would fail miserably if i told myself i couldnt have the fries i really wanted. I would count out 10fries and log them the best i could and just make room for them in my calories. Because denying myself meand9 after a while I will order 3 xtra large fries and eat them in the McDonald's parking lot.

A few things that work for me. Nothing is off limits or I'll cave. Instead of telling myself what I can't have I try to find things i can have. I figured out i love carrots and cauliflower as well as cucumbers plain, but I hate broccoli so Im not wasting my time forcing myself to eat it. I like mixing frozen mixed veggies…

I never knew how much just logging my food would help me realise how much I was actually eating. Im a decently active person with a pretty high tdee and the sheer volume of food I was eating was shocking.

For me that is an appropriate burn. I burn between 2500 and 3800 a day with an average of 10000 to 15000 steps a day.

I'm 29. 5ft6 and 220ish I burn about 3500 average (2700 to 3800 ish) and this has been pretty accurate for me. I get pretty highstep counts. 12000 to15000 average. I work on my feet 8 hours a day. Lots of bending and lifting. I also have four young children. I'm a natural fidgeter. I NEVER sit still lol. This has been…

Im 5ft6 220 lbs and lose a 1b a week eating around 2500 calories a day. I couldnt ever eat 1200. I dont think I cluld regularly eat under 2000 without being a hot angry mess.

In a math sense you were over your maintenence (1800) by 1200 calories so roughly you p[ut yourself behind by a total of 4 days. This is not exact obviously but prettty close. You didnt ruin anything. ALso look on your diary and see your totals for the entire week, some people look at their whole week average vs day to day.
-
Well I lose about 1 lb a week on 3000 calories. Im 5ft6 and 220lbs. This has pretty much stood the test of time but I've restarted after having another child. So when I'm gaining/ maintaining Im doing it at 4000 a day sadly.

Sour cream is good and less calories. Along with plain yogurt. Sometimes I put a tiny sprinkle if cheese for the meltinessand then sour cream as well. Salsa is another option. Light italian dressing.

8 lbs in 6 weeks is amazing. That's over a lb a week. And if you don't like keto stop doing keto.

My watch is adding steps but they aren't picking up on my app. And how do I power off the watch because I can't figure it out

Less than a month. I did get a new phone and installed the app on it.

You can't. Not without permanent damage

Do you have a Fitbit or Garmin fitness band linked to your account?

Im not sure if you said your age and stats but Im guessing we are somewhat similar.28 and I am 5ft6 and 200 lbs exactly. My 4 week data from fitbit gives me 3000 tdee average and Ive been eating 2400-2700 calories a day and losing 1 lb per week. I was getting about 18000 steps a day. Between 15000 and 20000 . I trusted my…

I do this exact thing with carrots. It's so yummy and it gives a great crunch. Same with tuna salad

No. My job is very physical and it affords me ALOT of calories to eat. I eat 2500 and lose a lb a week. I do know that when I first started the job i put on about 10 lbs because I could easily eat more without realizing it if I wasn't logging. Logging had kept me on track and I can eat a sizeable amount of food to lose…
