  • As everyone else said, we use venison just like we would beef. Can't get any more free range/ grass fed than that. I love Chef Myron's 20 guage marinade, I've used it on steaks and in stew and it's awesome. http://www.chefmyrons.com/buy-now/articles/152-myrons-20-gauge-wild-game-a-fish-sauce
  • I let the Fitbit log as it does and I put in an exercise log for 1 calorie in MFP to log what I did each day.
  • Mine logs driving my Jeep and my snowmobile as "Outdoor Biking". I laugh at it.
  • I use Google for so much at work, I found 2 templates that I've been using, unfortunately only one of them is there now: https://drive.google.com/previewtemplate?id=0AljXwQR3tC3pdHE5cTd6MzQ4VVp3Yy1aV2F3SThDT3c&mode=public&ddrp=1#
  • I'm loving that I'm not dying after every workout this week. Last night I did upper fix and I'm definitely feeling stronger. I've been taking it easy (herniated disc in neck) but next week I'm going to mix in some heavier weights.
  • I am not a fan of Cardio Fix. Just sayin ;)
  • I know people always say that it's muscle weight. It could be. My body can easily fluctuate 5lbs in one day. Don't stress just stick with it. I've been struggling to stick with the 21DF , but I'm doing better this time. This is week 2 and I'm planning better and sticking to the meal plans better. Baby steps. We'll get…
  • I'm looking forward to working out later today, had to miss yesterday. Believe it or not, after working out 3 days straight I felt much better.
  • Yesterday I had to miss my workout because my schedule was so insane, but I stayed w/in my meal plan so I felt okay. Sticking with it today.
  • Thank you! I swear the site wasn't coming up for me when I asked.
  • I love my buddy Nick but I'm so glad he didn't come over yesterday. I got my upper fix in. DH told me "it's the day after the day after legs that gets you" and he's right. I keep having to get up from my desk to walk around. I'm so stiff. Looking forward to tonight's workout.
  • I wear a Timex HRM and log my exercise using that. It's neat to see how closely the calorie burns are for a given workout from week to week.
  • The first time I did the Total Body Cardio I thought I was going to die. My legs were junk. I learned to take it a touch easier on the squats and I survived. Yesterday I did the Lower Fix because I keep starting on Monday and screwing up by Wednesday. Today, I'm praying our friend doesn't come over for dinner so I can work…
  • What about using fresh berries instead of juice? you could use some water to thin it out to the consistency that you want.
  • I'm with you, I keep restarting and restarting. I need to stick to this. Field hockey is over for DD. Soccer is coming to an end for DH. If I stick to this now I'll have done a full circuit by Thanksgiving. Then I can do another before Christmas to stay on top of things with the holidays. I can do this. I just have to plan…
  • I restarted yesterday too with the 21DF I slacked off for a month when we bought a boat. Now I've got to get back in it.
  • Hi Tina!
  • This is going to be my second round of 21 day fix and hopefully better than the first. We bought a boat half way through my last round and my life became a whirlwind of running around. Between work, DH coaching soccer, DD playing field hockey, things with the boat, family obligations it got a bit out of control. Although…
  • argh! I missed a day with the app and now I can't seem to get the days to work to let me track what I'm eating. Is anyone else using it? Is it still working for you?
  • I've been using my heart rate monitor when I do the videos and logging them under the name of the video. It's working well. I'm averaging a little over 200 calories per video, which is fine by me.
  • Last week was a crazy week for me, so I'm jumping back in this week and pushing on. DH said to me "So it takes you 42 days instead of 21, at least you're trying". Definitely helped me get back in the swing of things.
  • I'm right there with you. Two tiny yellow containers suck. I just looked and realized that winter squash counts as a veggie, so that's a saving grace for me. I accidentally ate both of my yellows already today. :(
  • I had to go to VT over the weekend with my parents to do work on the cabin - translation - no videos or control over what we were eating. It was a great weekend, but it's nice to be home and back in a groove.
  • IT's okay. MFP allows you to put in your food. The app only allow you to track what containers you use for food. I'm still using both because I never write anything down on paper. I like that it lets you enter in your measurements so that you have them to refer back to at the end. If it let me actually put in the food I…
  • Nice to meet you!
  • You can do it! I tested things out last week and this week is my first "real" week. I work full time and between my schedule, DD's and DH's I'm constantly running in different directions. I'm hoping I can play mind games with myself to fit the 30 minutes in each day.
  • Tonight if my first run with Lower Fix. Hoping I can walk afterwards. I started a challenge yesterday with several friends who are also doing the 21DF.
  • I'm glad I'm not the only in who hit day 3 still sore from day 1. This week is sort of a cheat week for me. I'm doing the videos to get to know them but I start a challenge with friends after the weekend. I figure 28 days can't hurt ;)
  • Try freezing the veggies that you can. I hate wasting food too.
  • I've been trolling Pinterest boards getting ideas for lunches and dinners. I need to make DH lunch this year (he's a teacher) and that's proving difficult. He'll eat salads, but not every day. And whatever I make needs to be able to be eaten fairly quickly since some days he might only have 5 minutes to scarf down his…
