Good luck! The tracking can seem a bit cumbersome but it actually gets quite easy especially if you tend to eat a lot of the same foods. I'm just starting again, need to lose about 20 lbs. wish me luck!

Try coconut oil and butter. They are really yummy and carb free. You can even put grass fed butter and coconut oil in your coffee. It sounds weird but it is called bullet proof coffee. google it.

Think about what you were doing or feeling when you chose to eat that food. Maybe you have a trigger? Maybe you just wanted the food and if so, great, eat up… run an extra mile or get out and play some ball. you didnt fail, you just indulged…

it is amazing, isn't it? sugar is the worst. I eat 50% of my cals in fat. I don't do red meat or pork, instead I eat lots of eggs, coconut oil, nuts, etc. best I've ever looked. congrats for finding what works for you!

^ I am an all or nothing type as well. It is good to know that and just abstain. I also have cut out grains and protein is great but don't skimp on the unsaturated fats, they really are satiating and healthy.

I understand enjoying alcohol on occasion but do you really want 1/6 of your cals per day to come from alcohol? It's all sugar calories in the end. Just a thought….

^ This! Its hard to just have one, especially when everyone one else is drinking to get drunk. Maybe try and have a glass of wine, then a glass of water to always have something in your hand-you won't overindulge and you won't be deprived. Or just stay in, and study! :)

They didn't say that! She said it fit into a lower calorie diet. Really, we know about healthy fats and whole foods genius. We're talking calories for a snack or smoothie if you like pb but want to spend your calories on even healthier fats like omegas.

Wow people calm down! Pb is healthy and my fave but pb2 is great for protein shakes. I hate that "Eeew that's gross" attitude. Don't eat or buy it then!

I feel like i wrote your post. I eat fairly healthy, run and dont eat much meat but sugar and starches are a serious problem for me. ( When I can stop eating too many carbs my belly shrinks right away, just hard to stay stopped.)
