Thanks everyone! I do run my food diary midnight to midnight. I try to do 2 meals and small snacks but, as I said, being awake 23 hours some days makes it really hard to keep the count low. I rarely hit the vending machine or eat fast food. I work 6:30-6:30 either a.m. to p.m. or vice versa, and sometimes both in the same…

Thanks, it does help! I'm interested in what others are doing so that maybe I can try a couple different things.

I go with 1200/day but actually shoot for 8500/week or under. Some days I eat significantly over and some under so the weekly calculation works for me. I try to anticipate an over eating day and cut some calories the few days before and after. It works for me but it's not a real popular idea around here. Also, I'm not…

I also hate "healthy" eating. I'm a great cook and I LOVE to eat!! However, I find that a few little substitutions along with portion control have helped immensely. I've also realized that I actually do eat healthier than most people I know because I do cook from scratch and rarely eat out. My biggest issue is with all the…

Uggggh, I've got floppy arms too, no amount of exercise seems to help. I can feel the muscle under there but waaaaay under...LOL! I too am resigned to short sleeves. I'm also in the C-section skin flap/fat club. That has never gone away even when I was dangerously thin (105ish) after a stint on a "program." I really don't…

I do 1200, BUT, I do average that throughout the week. Soooooo, some days it might be 15-1500 others it may be 800. This helps with my rotating work schedule and family dinners. It's working for me so far, down 6 lbs. in 10 days (I've been doing it for about a month but only tracking for 10 days). You need to figure out…

Well, I'm actually 5'1" but my goal weight is 125lbs. I'm 42, mother of 2 teens and that's the weight I feel I can maintain with some moderate exercise and better eating.

Ok, thanks everyone...pretty much what I thought! It's really hard to stick to the diet and exercise route when the other girls in the office are losing 5lbs (or more) weekly:sad: I guess my reward will come when I don't gain it all back in 6 months!

I'm with ya!! Lost 40 lbs several years ago and gained back 60! I weigh the same now as I did during my largest pregnancy...ugggh:( I want to look better at 45 than I did at 40, so here I go again...working toward a lifestyle change not just weight loss!

Uggggh, 40 hit me like a ton o' bricks!! All of the weight I've gained since 40 has been in spots it never was before...gut, thighs, and arms especially! I believe I must've hit perimenopause myself:sad:

How do you add water tracking? I have a HUGE issue with drinking enough water and need to see it!

I'm in this club! Never thought I would be, but here I am... 5'1" and 180 lbs, trying to get to 125 lbs, just starting today and could use some encouragement!
