Great job!!!

1500 cals, I'll bet some of my old late night snacks used to be that much.

Very good results, you look great.

Splurge now, burn later because guilt can be a motivator.

This is all very interesting, I might give it a shot and see how it works. First I need to get paid and then I can start with a new grocery list, lol. But yeah interesting stuff.

Great job guys

4000 calories, I feel better now that I know I am not the only one, but a new day means a new goal (as long as it's not overdone).

I have added more exercises and sets to my weight training and concentrated on more volume of work as opposed to short sessions that didn't make me sweat as much. The increased sweating makes me feel better for some reason.

I wonder what that did to the "People's Jewels", but maybe there's implants now, lol.

I was rushing a bit yesterday morning and had to eat something because I was hungry so I grabbed a couple of pizza pops to heat up at the office, terrible choice but they were delicious.

Make a gift basket for family or set up an Easter egg hunt for children.

The only effective thing I could think of is Total Gym. I have one and there are many variations of upper-body exercises that increase you heart rate.

You look great, beautiful family picture.

I gained about 4 pounds myself but you have to consider the amount of sodium in ham, stuffing, and all the other fixin's on the X-mas dinner table. Water retention galore, mind you it's taking me some time to get rid of it so I am back on track. Maybe some cardio will help, I'll see.

I use chia seeds on my protein shake but I soak the seeds in water first, 1/3 water per tablespoon of seeds. I use mainly to increase fibre and it seems to give me a bit more satisfaction than plain protein drink. I also have a serving of large flake oats so it all keeps me satisfied till lunch time.

I used to do these exercises more than often when I used to train with weights. The feeling you get from progressively adding weight over-time, will more than make up for the discomfort of performing them. It's a feeling of power from the increased testosterone level's from doing such exercises. I say, give them a month of…

Welcome back, I'm also making my comeback to this site. I stopped in Aug 16 and started again on Oct 16 so that's two months. I hope you do well on your restarted journey.

I'm just coming back from a 2 month hiatus from my fitness goals, but anyway, I just started using http://www.allmaxnutrition.com/products-type/allwhey/ . The taste is alright but the amount of protein is more than adequate. I have used one scoop by itself and it seemed a bit sweet, but it's low fat and low cal. I just…

I personally use a Total Gym and I never log calories burned. The program calls for many exercises to be performed for enhanced calorie burning but I use the machine to re-build muscle I lost during my weight-training hiatus (10 years). The muscle I build from the workouts will be beneficial for metabolism and later for…

JUST DO IT!!!!! Good stuff. If I ever need an honest opinion, I'll ask you for sure.

You look great! I'm actually waiting for my new scale to arrive but after reading your post, maybe it's not so important.

It's familiar to to me when you speak of hell, I have some fears out of nowhere sometimes from all the stories I used to hear when I was a kid. I think it's just natural for humans to fear the unknown and many thoughts will pop in their heads trying to discern the possible explanations for the unknown. I grew up with many…

My name is Charlie and I will be on the MFP membership 2 weeks tomorrow. I decided to check out the MFP groups today. I am happy to find like minded people on MFP and am relieved that there is a group that takes full responsibility for their successes and failures instead of on an imaginary deity. Much of my family have it…

Here's hoping that you reach your goals and live a long healthy life:smile: .

I got mine in February sometime and it took me awhile to get the hang of it but I used to weight train with free-weights when I was younger. This machine is great because you can start at a low incline to get used to the exercises and there is no danger of dropping a weight on yourself. I actually designed my own routines…

Thanks Carol, if you read my blog, you'll know why I'm taking it slow, but who knows. Maybe this site is going to make all the difference. I've stayed below my weight-loss level so far (except for last Sunday) and this Food Diary is making it so easy right now.
