Stress is such a hard thing to deal with when you are used to using food for solace. I sometimes feel freaking starving and when I actually think about why, it's because I am stressed (though boredom does it for me too).

I work from home - my solution is I just don't go into the kitchen except to get coffee and water! It does help that I'm always pretty busy though. It's funny - after doing this for more than a year, I usually don't even think about eating until my usual time to eat (like 3 or 4pm). I also have a rule that I'm not allowed…

Today's weight - and Trendweight is happy with me today. I even have a new end date (AGAIN). Just have to keep it up this week - sure would be nice to see an actual drop on the scale (like 162 even!).

Good plan! I don't really have eating days as such, but I definitely go overboard on my OMADs on the weekend. So maybe they ARE eating days! Ha!

Your goal is the exact same as mine - be able to fit comfortably into everything in my closet! I was SO close before I went to Europe, there was probably about 2% that didn't fit. Now it's probably closer to 25% that doesn't fit... :'(

Sorry for the delayed reply - I've been fasting for over a year now. I actually found the pain relief was really quick - like a couple of weeks. Though I really upped my turmeric intake at the same time, so it's hard to tell which had the most effect....

Well, I have OA in my hip, which I think has an inflammatory component? I think three things have helped hugely with that (I get hardly any pain now): 1. Turmeric 2. Weight loss 3. Fasting Hard to tell which has made the most difference, but I do know if I stop taking the turmeric for a couple of days, I get a LOT of pain…

Likely not with the extra long food and booze filled weekend I have ahead of me, that's for sure! Maybe next week??? You only turn 50 once though. I probably won't be doing OMAD but for sure TMAD. And thinking of bringing my scale with me, like Tracey, to at least try to keep things a little under control!!

That is my biggest weakness - cheese! And doubly so when there is wine or cocktails involved... Sounds like you have a solid plan though - have an awesome time!

Quick update on my weight - seems to come off so much more slowly than it came on. Though I do have to remember it took more than 2 weeks to gain, and I've only been trying to lose it for just over a week... Still - I really kind of thought it would be a lot of water weight and just fly off. Ha!

Same here! I think for me it's because it's a "special occasion" so I justify it. I always regret it because it's usually grocery store bought and way too sweet...
