I love an over-medium egg over wilted spinach with diced avocado and salsa.

Have you tried chili? You can get lean pork and load it with veggies and lentils. I'm making tacos this week with lettuce wraps instead of tortillas.

How do you add it to your calorie count? When I used MFP with my first baby, I would add it to my food section and it would add negative calories. That doesn't work anymore. Any tips? Thx!

I started back this week too and similarly I lost about 3 pounds in a few days. My guess is it is water weight and my bosy adjusting and losing some bloat from high sodium before watching what I eat. Also, Thanksgiving was last week. Did you celebrate? There are lots of salty and fatty foods that your body was excited to…

I agree. Maybe there is some jealousy or they do not want to embarrass you. You look so healthy and should be proud of yourself!

So glad they added a skinny mint mocha for the Christmas season! 100 calories in a tall! I had one every day the week they came out... I went a little overboard. I went cold turkey last week though. Just a nice cup of coffee with skim milk. :)

The Bud Light Platinum isn't terrible. I am not a fan at all of bud light or miller light, they are indeed terrible. Honestly, drink less of the good stuff. Favorite beer right now is Goose Island Matilda. It's amazing.

Stretchy stretch stretch! Also, drink plenty of water to help flush out the lactic acid. :)

They love you. Yes, there may be some jealousy over your success, but they love you fat or skinny. Maybe share some success tips with them. Workout together. Swap healthy recipes. I am the youngest of 9 with two sisters. My sisters are stunning. They get fit much easier than I do, and even after three kids my oldest sister…

What about swimming?

I hook my house key to my sports bra on a small D-clip and tuck it in. I have an older iPod nano, you can probably find a refurbished one pretty cheap. I link it to a Nike+ running chip in my shoe ($30). You can get a road ID and not worry about carrying a wallet with an ID. I carry a throw away bottle of water and have…

Fasting provides no fuel and when you do give in and eat, you may be so hungry you make poor choices with your meals. You also are depriving yourself of protein and nutrients that we get from eating that help us maintain all our body functions. It also makes for a poor quality of life, even just for a day. Instead of…

Good idea freezing them into portions. It will be like a Valentine's treat that keeps on giving!

and beer.... good Belgium beer.. not the light stuff.

Pizza with LOTS of cheese and buffalo chicken and ranch dressing to dip in. And Cheesecake with nutella and peanut butter.

The gallbladder is used to digest fatty foods. If your pain is worse after fatty foods, it may be your gallbladder. You may be having gas pains from the extra fiber in your diet or pain from an inflamed appendix. Either way, if you are concerned and your pain is persistent, go ahead and see your doctor. Better safe than…

I read a cosmetic fix for cellulite is to rub coffee grounds on it, kind of like a sugar scrub. Apparently the caffiene helps... :)

I'm not a fitness guru, but I have had good and bad luck going both ways. If I don't eat, I am less likely to cramp up during a run. But if I don't eat I also could lose steam 1/2 way into my workout. I'm curious as to what people have the most success with.

I used Hunt's Spaghetti sauce cans (bigger than soup cans) or you could use water bottles (1/2 liter = 1.1 lbs so do the math on whatever size you have). They are only about 1 lb each, but they are free and are good for building up good technique until you buy the hand weights.

Plus, if you are circuit training you get cardio as well as resistance training and burn mega calories. Have you ever done Jillian's Shred? I mean, I am dripping in sweat after 25 minutes. I am sure I burn at least 350 calories.

So very sorry for your loss. Take the time to heal your heart first. Just try to stay healthy and not worry about the number on the scale for now.

No problem doing it in one month. If you can run a 10K, you can run 10mi. Your pace may be a little slower than with the 10K, though not by too much.

You look awesome! Great job! I am a nurse too (I stalked your profile) and it is really hard stay on track with diet and have the energy to exercise before or after a 12 hour shift!

Potatoes are not all that bad for you. Loaded with potassium! Hows about we bake up some potato wedges with a little garlic and rosemary? Yum diddly ummm!
-
Love doing this! Works great with any cake mix and even in a cake pan! I have made it for parties and its super moist and fluffy.

I did it back in January and did not do any other exercise. I felt good and I saw results, but probably not as dramatic as I would have if I threw in some running too.
-
Wow. These look awesome! And super low cal for the amount of food. WTG!

I am the same way. I am a nurse so my schedule makes it hard to eat right and exercise regularly. It doesn't matter if I have 3 square meals or more mini meals. I am always hungry in the evening, usually for something sweet. I have a few things in my back pocket for some cravings. I think the key is protein. It keeps you…

If you have access to a pool, swimming would be great exercise for some one with this type of problem. The water buoyancy takes a lot of pressure off of your joints. Hope it is not an injury and sorry you are having pain!

You look great and I bet you feel amazing! Congratulations!
