  • I usually don't it's when they start commenting on what I'm eating or not! I try to explain why I'm eating smaller portions! Before it was just because I didn't eat meat, now it's the no meat and smaller portions! I guess for those that don't suffer from weight gain or major binge eating it's hard to understand the…
  • I know I have my boyfriend but you don't have to be alone to feel lonely! I am aware I may have overreacted and due to other things going on I may have blown a small issue into a massive one :'(
  • I'm the biggest of my friends, no one else seems to have trouble with their weight. One friend seems to like going on about how little I am eating and she cant understand why I weigh my food/count calories, but she is one of these who can eat as much as she likes and doesn't seem to gain weight. I look at a bar of…
  • Went to try these today, its hard to make them ...... when you have no eggs :\
  • Congratulations well done :D
  • Queen of Binging here, a two week binge saw me gaining 2st (28lbs) :'( So any help/support would be gratefully received and I will happily give it back in return!
  • Please don't hate me, but my omelettes are always fabulous. They are about the only things I can cook though! I am looking forward to giving these muffins a try, although they are the same ingredients as an omelette, in my head they different! :# I'm crazy I know :(
  • Thanks. I did it once I can do it again! Need to, hate clothes shopping and at the moment only a few things fit (without cutting circulation off), my uniform, a pair of stretchy trousers and 2 baggy hoodies that I refused to throw away cause they are so comfy! Almost forgot about the exercise that decreased as the food…
  • My understanding is everything you do burns calories. Even watching TV, it just it doesn't burn as much as getting up and going for a walk! While sleeping you're burning calories, as you are still breathing and heart is still beating these both need energy!
  • Quest bars or homemade bars. Recipes on The Diet Kitchen, taste all the better cause you've made them yourself. You can also make the flavours you want and they are cheaper!
  • Love Quest bars, but at the moment my favourites are my homemade protein bars. So cheap and easy to make, usually hate been in the kitchen but enjoy making these. Original recipes from The Diet Kitchen, but easy to adapt if flavours aren't to your liking!
  • I weigh Mondays, but only cause new diet and excercise regime start on Mondays. Can't start mid week! :ohwell:
  • I've been with my boyfriend 9 years now and we met online, you just got to work through the rubbish to find the prize! Much like dating in the 'real world' really! :flowerforyou:
  • I had a mixed experience, some weirdos but it all ended good. So pleased I didn't give up after the first month or so, I got my happy ending! They aren't all weirdos thankfully  9 years later wouldn't have done anything differently.
  • That should have said 'a UK thing'
  • It's made from fungus, high in protein low in fat. Obviously not as high in protein as meat but enough to take my protein up. Just thought, where are you from? It may just be a thing!
  • I have a lot of loose skin after loosing 9st (126lb), I was 20st (280lb). I lost my weight through diet, but blame the lack of excercise for the excess skin! Even after I gained weight again it did not tighten, but with the help of excercise I will fight it. This time the weight is staying off and I'm going to tone up!
  • I use quorn, eggs and cottage cheese (low fat) a lot to boost mine. Have also ordered some soya protein to try but not sure about that yet as never had it before. I'm quite picking so my diet probably isn't the most varied out there!
  • I want half those arms, the bottom half please! I am perfectly happy with my biceps, however my triceps are letting me down. Any tips on how to improve them without my biceps growing too!?!?
  • Well done, you'll be running Marathons next. I'm working towards been able to run 5k, have managed a 25min jog this morning. This time 2 weeks ago I struggled to jog 2min!

  • Weight loss does start to slow near the end, I had several weeks near the end where my weight was sticking. Was lucky enough not to gain some weeks but this can happen too! The trick is not to let a no weight loss or a little gain to put you off getting to your goal - I did this on so many of my diets in the past!
  • We'll done it's a great feeling isn't it?! I get excited every time I lost half a stone, it was like id made it passed another milestone. Even better when you reach the point you've lost more than you've got left to loose. Keep up the good work.
  • Working odd shifts and not getting meals at the same time can be my problem too I'm an RVN and work day and night shifts. Even on day shifts the animals of the world don't seem to care that I need food! Also owners will bring in thank you chocolate and biscuits, which of course it would be rude not to eat!! Planning my…
  • Thanks everyone, I already kind of knew if I want to keep this weight off I was going to have to continue using MFP but just needed to hear it from others. Guess I wanted to make sure I wasn't been unnecessarily depended on the app. I'm beginning to enjoy planning my meals and really thinking about what I'm eating rather…
  • Been a vegetarian doesn't mean a slim figure, I'm a vegetarian and in 2011 I was 20st! Healthy eating whether it includes meat or not is the only way for successful weight loss. Exercise is also a great tool, finding something you enjoy and will stick with is the key.
  • Hi like you I'm new to the boards but not to MFP. Started using it seriously December last year and reached my goal this week, just got to keep it off this time! Have just starting running okay at the moment it's more of a jog! Any advice, do's or dont's?
