I always save a good chunk of calories for the evening when I'm watching my show on Netflix ;) I used to alwaysssss binge the most while mindlessly watching tv so this way I can still have my 'binge' without doing any real damage. If you like breakfast foods, I would totally suggest an eggwhite omelet. 9tbsp of egg whites…

well ER doctors are a little different than a licensed psychologist. you have to want the help though for it to really work, I've been through therapy for a good chunk of these past 10 years and honestly it CAN make a difference if you let someone help
-
try ALL options before turning to the internet though, honestly. you've never seen a doctor so how do you know if they won't help?

thanks for the input guys- I definitely agree, I've had some issues with stress (hasn't everyone? hehe) and have noticed a trend with overeating for sure. I was just having a conversation with a friend and she was telling me that you can gain weight strictly from having psychological issues, specifically with a severe…

hi! I work at a call center myself and I am chained to my desk as well haha. as far as keeping my body moving, that doesn't usually happen too much. the most movement i'll get is usually just taking the 3 flights of stairs to and from my breaks. but when I'm trying to snack, I usually ration the food I bring by leaving…

I agree with leaving a certain amount of calories for my night time snacks. I usually don't get home from work til around 10:30-11 and I almost always want to eat at least a lil something before I go to bed. usually i'll make a giant plate of egg whites with some cheese and salsa, and then a piece of toast with a little…

I have problems with depression that began when I was 12. The only thing that has helped my depression has been eating well and exercise. I still have my bad days, but losing weight has helped me tremendously. especially the exercise aspect of it. If you take good care of yourself, you WILL feel better. Losing weight has…

you probably should see a doctor though

hi! congrats on taking a huge and scary step towards recovery. I've had issues with binging and restriction in the past. I would definitely suggest bringing your own snacks to eat on the way up. pretzels, wheat thins, fiber one snacks, maybe a little lunch box or cooler full of fruits. and as far as the hotel goes, eggs…

this is perfect

wait.. so if being 'healthy' is different for every person, aren't we all right?

I usually have one day a week that I don't log everything. I don't go overboard by any means, but I think its been crucial to my success so far. for me, the whole 'eating whatever I want every day, just smaller portions' will not work for me, because If I ate whatever I wanted on some days it would just be one greasy meal…

you can do this! I also have issues with binging. as simple as it sounds, something I usually tell myself when I want to binge is 'I can have these foods tomorrow.' when I want to binge its usually because I am always meticulously watching what I eat and I feel like I just want to 'let go' and enjoy myself. but when I…
