You have some good advice. Work toward it and you will get there. I am old and worked toward doing pushups. Every day that I go the gym, I do no less that 30 pullups in 2 sets.. First set is at leat 20.

All of those you mention would be good. You can check them out and see which one you are more comfortable with. . Fish had some good points and location is usually a key.

That is a fun marathon. They do it right.

do what you can and you can probably do modifications. They have some good ab machines and the 30 min workout is decent...you can really vary that one. A friend uses the 30 sec rest period to do the weights and then the 60 sec steps. The leg exercises may be tough..light weights may be a thought

I do two hrs of cardio 5 days a week and 8-10 hrs on the weekend and lift and do abs, pullups, pushups every day and I get tired..my body is use to it and just does it...some days, the results are different, but the effort is the same

I have those moments...I have a number that I do every time I go to the gym. I will do one set after first round of cardio, which is usually 60-70 mins. Then, I do another round after 2nd round of cardio, usally 60 mins. Soetimes, it takes me 3 sets, but I usually get them in 2.

you are doing good. Got some good suggestions. Just start moving. Everyone should find what they like and what their heart and mind enjoy. I like running long, hiking, walking, classes. Just a mixture...as long as you want to do something, you will

This would be a great challenge. Sounds like a tough one. Would be fun. If you live close, try to do part of the course or something as similar as you can. Excited for you.

Ellip is a great way to help cross train and get in a good cardio workout. I run ultras, marathons. I use the ellip about 3 times a week, maybe 4 for 60 mins to 90 mins each session and it saves my knees and feet and still gives me a good workout. I can set the tension up and do hills and intervals on it

I workout 7 days a week

They have some good machines and PF360 and a 30 min workout room...they also have classes for arms, back, legs, etc...fairly good ab machines...they do not have a rowing machine which is great to work out with or a Jacobs ladder..get with the personal trainer and they will set her up a strength program..
