You have some good advice. Work toward it and you will get there. I am old and worked toward doing pushups. Every day that I go the gym, I do no less that 30 pullups in 2 sets.. First set is at leat 20.

I stick to most of it due to cancer. I still get in my mileage and 15 to 20 hrs of exercise a week. Only exception I make time to time is eating fruit. Each person ahs to decide what is best for the. Get as much knowledge as you can.

I once finished last in a trail run and had so much fun that I take great pride on finishing last every yr that I do it..ha..i am now much slower due to cancer, lymphedemia from the surgery and other medical stuff..i do what I ca, the best I can..the effort is same, results different. All of those you mention would be good. You can check them out and see which one you are more comfortable with. . Fish had some good points and location is usually a key.

That is a fun marathon. They do it right.

do what you can and you can probably do modifications. They have some good ab machines and the 30 min workout is decent...you can really vary that one. A friend uses the 30 sec rest period to do the weights and then the 60 sec steps. The leg exercises may be tough..light weights may be a thought

it is a good workout..good form is a must

I do two hrs of cardio 5 days a week and 8-10 hrs on the weekend and lift and do abs, pullups, pushups every day and I get tired..my body is use to it and just does it...some days, the results are different, but the effort is the same

I work out at 3:30 am but if I can, I usually go for a walk during lunch...just icing on the cake
-
I have those moments...I have a number that I do every time I go to the gym. I will do one set after first round of cardio, which is usually 60-70 mins. Then, I do another round after 2nd round of cardio, usally 60 mins. Soetimes, it takes me 3 sets, but I usually get them in 2.

Varies..usually minimum of 70 Miles per week..split up between running, walkingand elliptical. I am active 7 days a week..my body is used to it..I also do spin at least twice a week and core, pull-ups and abs everyday..some weights..I need to stretch more and better nutrition..hike when I can..there are a lot of long…

you are doing good. Got some good suggestions. Just start moving. Everyone should find what they like and what their heart and mind enjoy. I like running long, hiking, walking, classes. Just a mixture...as long as you want to do something, you will

I try to mix it up with rowing, running, Javorek workouts, crossfit, biking, hiking, 30 min total body workouts and plyometrics and spin

This would be a great challenge. Sounds like a tough one. Would be fun. If you live close, try to do part of the course or something as similar as you can. Excited for you.

I usually don't taper like I should..i might just walk a few the day before but I try to drink more water and eat a higher percentage of good carbs

Ellip is a great way to help cross train and get in a good cardio workout. I run ultras, marathons. I use the ellip about 3 times a week, maybe 4 for 60 mins to 90 mins each session and it saves my knees and feet and still gives me a good workout. I can set the tension up and do hills and intervals on it
-
I workout 7 days a week

They have some good machines and PF360 and a 30 min workout room...they also have classes for arms, back, legs, etc...fairly good ab machines...they do not have a rowing machine which is great to work out with or a Jacobs ladder..get with the personal trainer and they will set her up a strength program..
