  • Oh, I was talking about ruffling feathers here if I listed the things that 'hold me back'. LOL I'm not around any kind of culture that limits what foods I can eat (as in.... no vegetarians, pescetarians, vegans, etc.). I do the best I can do, with what I have. I try to listen to my body and always be aware of my physical…
  • It's uh.... really hard for me to control my diet or -choose- what I eat. The reasons are a bit too personal and lengthy to list here, however. I'd likely get chided up and down the wall because most people have a moral compass very different from my own. (I know that's too cryptic to see the connection, but the…
  • My twin has endometriosis, but when I did go to the doctor two years ago, she said my uterus was otherwise fine. I didn't know you could actually -develop- it?!?! That's pretty scary! I've asked my husband if it's okay for me to schedule an appointment in January, but I haven't done that yet. I wonder why my doctor didn't…
  • I'd say that whenever this happens, mine are more like 'huge plum sized' clots. That's really what had me worried. Since this has only happened a handful of times in 7 years (I'd guess, at most, once a year), my hormones must REALLY be out of whack (in order for that complete shedding to happen so infrequently, I mean).…
  • I'll need to look into all this stuff. I've never even heard of inistol or Metmorfin before today, so I have no clue what they are and exactly what they do. Would I need to ask the doctor when I make my appointment, to have an insuline and glucose test? (I'm sorry if I sound dumb. I know absolutely nothing about hospitals,…
  • Well no, they aren't peach colored at all. It's all red. So does this mean that despite the texture, what I'm passing are actually giant clots? That's a little scary. :s But it's harmless (as far as PCOS symptoms go), right? It does indeed do my heart good to know my memory wasn't tricking me. I do think I remember my…
  • I too have PCOS, just like so many posters here. And like several respondents, your post brought me to tears. I was told I will have EXTREME difficulty conceiving, but I don't have the money to see a fertility doctor. The fact that a few women here actually shared success stories about having children with PCOS gives me…
  • Thank all of you for the amazing feedback! Jogging/ Running is a very new thing for me, and so I learned quite a bit by reading all of your responses. I didn't know so many little things could make a difference! It's really awesome of you guys to spend time giving me the info and encouragement! What is a sport bean? And…
  • Again, thanks so, SO much for inviting me to these! I need to stop slacking due to work! Working out is such a stress reliever anyways.. I shouldn't avoid it! If I start slipping, someone needs to chew me out!
  • Thanks so much for inviting me to join this group. I fell off the wagon last month due to stress and an overwhelming workload. I won't fall off this time! It means a lot to be to be able to do things like this, and I especially appreciate that you invited me after I stopped participating last time. Let's do this! Might I…
  • I don't know how all of you guys do it.. You're amazing. I jogged for 2 hours today just because I was so frustrated with my job. Still didn't meet my goal though. So I'm going to set my goal for 6500 again this upcoming week. To the rest of you... keep at it! You guys are amazing and a huge inspiration! Week 2 Goal: 6500…
  • oh, I feel annoyed that I was missing all these daily threads... :/ I haven't exercised today yet, but I at least wanted to post my last six days. I had set my goal for 6500, but it's clear that isn't going to happen. :( I had a rough start, where I had so little energy in the first two days. I could barely even make…
  • I've seen people bump their threads when they didn't get a response, so I hope it isn't against the rules! Anyways, I'm really hoping for some advice on this. If it helps, I found another set of movement that causes the muscle to hurt, thanks to Tapout. If I'm sitting on my knees, and I try to stand from that position, the…

  • Had in-laws over, so I didn't really get the chance to do much today and didn't eat well either. Week 1 Goal: 3500 Day 1: 1024 calories (2 hours brisk walk on treadmill) Day 2: 905 calories (1 hour yoga via TapouT XT and 1 hour jogging and walking on treadmill) Day 3: 250 calories (1 hour TapouT XT) Day 4: Day 4: Day 6:…
  • Okay, so it's kinda annoying that you can't edit your own posts after a small time frame. XD Week 1 Goal: 3500 Day 1: 1024 calories (2 hours brisk walk on treadmill) Day 2: 905 calories (1 hour yoga via TapouT XT and 1 hour jogging and walking on treadmill) Day 3: Day 4: Day 4: Day 6: Day 7: Total: 1929 Left to go: 1571

  • While I admit that this one scares me quite a bit.... *takes a deep breath* I want to do it. Let's go!
  • The funny thing is that I made the exact same decision today and was going to post the exact same question... but I didn't want to seem dumb. XD I did some looking on amazon, and there were some models between $30 and $40. For all you pros, will those work just fine? I certainly can't afford much more...
  • I wanna do this! However, if I keep jogging every day on the treadmill like I have, 50 would be super easy for me. I want to set my goal a little higher, to encourage me to go every day! I hope nobody minds, since that's not the actual goal. :) I'm going to set my sight on 120 miles. I want to do at least 4 miles a day!
  • ^This. That's exactly what I do. No way I can afford any of the others listed here! Yeesh! Just seeing those prices made me cringe big time!
  • Awww that's so awesome! I wish I could motivate my husband by doing the same. :(
  • Thank you guys so much for all the support! I loved reading your feedback, and it's been greatly encouraging to me! I'm thinking of setting my goal back down to that 135, though I'd like to be fit too. I might take CaLaurie's advice for changing my goal to measurements. However, I have absolutely no idea how even to begin…
  • But see, I know nothing about staying fit and all that. I don't even know what a macro is, though I've seen the word tossed around. I'm not sure why I just believe so strongly that I can't. Oh, I did forget (if it matters) that I'm 5'3" or 5'4". I'm also very uh... well... very well endowed, unfortunately. I can't help but…
  • I'm the exact same size, trudijoy. I can say for sure that they do shrink if you lose enough body fat. I don't know how much they contribute though. I'd love to see mine shrink to a D, but I can't remember a time when they were ever that small. LOL
  • Thanks guys! I'm really liking it here so far, and I'm stunned by the level of activity! This site has quickly become my most visited over the past few days and I feel so motivated! I only hope that motivation doesn't dwindle, as it has in the past. People who will check up on me and nag me are still welcome!
  • So obviously, eating well and exercising are the best methods for losing weight, but how exactly does MFP factor it all? I mean, it tells me that my consumption goal should be 1,2000 grams, but every time I exercise, it adds my burned calories onto that 1,200 as though I can now eat more. I heard you only lose weight if…
