Merry Christmas to all! Starting today I'm taking a full week off the gym and running I figure it's a good idea since I've been pushing hard these last 5 months...So January 1st I will reset hopefully my shoulder is better by then if not then at least start running again.

This morning I ran an event run called Jingle Bell / Christmas Eve 5k. Burned 506 calories in 40 mins a longer time today because after I finished I went back and grabbed our dog teams running with us in the back and we all came back together. :smile:

Crushed my test this morning with a 96% overall! Burned 358 calories in 43mins....Thanks for the support everyone! Could not stop the BEASTMODE from activating this morning! @ Sherry - These tests are annual if you score overall 90% or above if not then every 6 months. I have been 90% or above for the last several years now and plan on keeping it that way. I will ensure to hit the BEAST MODE button tomorrow morning! (lol) I hear you when it comes to the holidays I think I put on a few pounds…

I'm taking the weekend off from running and working out trying to rest up for my test on Monday morning...My back is still a bit stiff from tweaking it Wednesday somehow. So just going to relax all weekend and recover.

Hello everyone! Today is an off day from the gym and running. I'm taking it easy this week not trying to get overboard before my annual Physical Training Test for next Monday. So this week I am only working out 3 times and taking the other days down to give my body good recovery time before my test on the 23rd.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far...This morning I ran with my Army co-worker so a slower run this morning lol which was fine because I was still sore from my leg workout. Then into the gym for a Bicep/Forearm workout overall I burned 761 calories in 91 minutes.

Today I ran a 10K/6.2 miles in 54:20 a pretty good pace considering that’s double of what I normally run distance wise. The first 5k was fine then mile 4, 5, and 6 seemed to take forever even though I was running under 9 minute miles the whole time minus the 5 to 6 miles ran exactly 9 minutes. Well no gym or running for me today ended up being another rest day...My body has been really tired that last several days now been staying up to late in the morning after work which ends up burning my sleep schedule. Just an update at the end of the month here...I ran just over 50 miles this month defiantly under my goal but its ok I did met my second goal I all of my weights went up 10lbs this month in each muscle group minus abs which is usually without any weights.
