Learn how to meal prep. Use the search tool to look it up on the forums here, get a pinterest, or just use google! Meal prep saves my *kitten* every week. It is the only way for me to stay on track. Plus there are tons of creative and tasty things to make. Good luck!

One of my favorites, among many from San Francisco... An old boyfriend and I were sitting on a bench near pier 39, and a man walked by us and said "You are both beautiful. You should totally kiss right now. It would be epic" We kissed

If your boyfriend is a human health and performance major... and he suggests you take diet pills, then he may want to rethink his career. Granted I don't know if he meant supplements or what, but diet pills are usually a scam/bad idea. I digress. It's also difficult for me to lose weight and super easy to put it on! For…

Okay, please just ignore everyone calling you bitter and jealous and rude. Clearly the idea of opening a gym for overweight people is absurd, but how you feel is totally normal. As someone said earlier, changing you attitude comes with changing your body. You're not going to feel awesome overnight, and the thought of it…

My favorite for cheap staple clothing is Old Navy! I think I got a basic tank there the other day for something like $3! Given they aren't the best quality, but it's perfect for losing weight. Forever 21, Wet Seal, Torrid work as well. Places like Marshall's or Ross are also good, if you don't mind doing a bit of digging…

This is one of the coolest success stories I've read :) You looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day. Congratulations!! Wow

These were exactly my thoughts. I eat frequently because otherwise I would be hungry all the time.

You've lost soo much all over but especially on your back!! Congrats! This is so inspiring.

I personally log everything that passes my lips. If I don't, I get into the habit of not logging little bites, sips of drinks, pieces of gum... and those can really add up if you're not careful. If you know yourself and you're on top of things, then logging it or not shouldn't be a big deal :)

Whoa, y'all need to stop stirring the damn pot. It's a bit annoying really, to turn a positive/thought provoking post into something negative. Anyway. I love this - and I was just thinking about it today. When things feel most out of control I am so grateful to at least be able to control myself. In all ways :) not just…

Ugh I think everyone has this problem!! Including myself haha. I have nice legs, but my butt/hips are pretty large and my waist is tiny. Nothing fits properly - thankfully my mom is a tailor. Having clothes tailored to you is absolutely the best option if you can do it. Even my friends who are incredibly fit and slim can't…

Bump :) sounds super tasty

- remembering how amazing I always feel afterwards - my dogs, they need exercise too, and my responsibility for them is motivating - looking at self in mirror naked - remembering how guilty I always feel when I don't workout - asking your MFP friends to ride your *kitten* if you don't exercise regularly :) Good luck!!

There is a lot of stuff in milk, both naturally and due to dairy companies, that we should not be consuming. For example, there is often puss in milk because the machines used to milk cause cause their udders to be chapped and become infected. Do some research of your own and come to your own conclusions. Don't feel bad…

It's all about balance! Many people track weekly as opposed to daily - it's more of a long term "big picture" feeling - which is what weight loss is really about. A few more/less calories a day won't mean much. But on a weekly scale and beyond it means a lot! If you eat more than you'd like one day, you can certainly eat…

This is exactly how I feel!! Sometimes this idea can make it crazy hard to be excited about losing weight. So sorry to hear about your parents... they can be a huge factor in our health and attitidues

This is definitely an interesting thread. So often we are completely focused on our journey to wellness that we fail to reflect on its origins. It's a healthy thing to do sometimes, looking back - it makes looking forward that much more meaningful. Thank you for posting, OP!

My junior year in high school. I was quite depressed and preoccupied with my education... so I packed on about 20 pounds. Funny to think back on those days - I thought I was super fat at my lowest weight. I would love to be that tiny again!

I agree with mathjulz! Do not feel an ounce of guilt for eating the things you like. So long as the majority of your food is nutritious, it's really not a big deal to indulge now and then. And honesty, it keeps you sane. I do know where you're coming from though, and a lot of forum posters fail to answer the OP's original…
