Having recently discovered Hummus, I am going to suggest a small whole wheat pita cut in wedges dipped in (or spread with) hummus. :)

I bet you look great. But if you're not sure, you could take some pics and post to youlookfab.com's forum. The community there is very friendly and great at determining good fit :)

I never liked soy milk, but I like almond. I buy the unflavored, unsweetened kind that needs refrigeration once it is opened. It is light (similar to skim milk) and is slightly sweet and nutty in taste. It is not quite like milk, but pleasant. Try it! :)

I realized that lactose and I were no longer friends when the following delicious things started to give me horrible, horrible gas: 1. Cookies (with milk) 2. Peanut Butter Sandwiches (with milk) 2. Cereal (with milk) Switched to almond milk and everything is a-ok.

Here's what I did: 1. Check best befores 2. Use it up a bit at a time 3. Donate what you cannot reasonably use All depends on what you mean by packaged food. Are you talking dry stuff or frozen? I have Mac & Cheese occasionally as a treat or if I am in a bind for time for dinner, instead of eating out. You could always…

What about.... Breakfast: Honestly, your breakfast sounds delicious to me :) I would eat that every day if I could be bothered to fry an egg before work. Cereal and Fruit Toast with Jam Bagel and Cream Cheese Lunch: Vegetable wraps with a bit of nice cheese (Chevre, cream cheese, jalapeno havarti?) Pitas with Hummus and…

During the week I eat breakfast only occasionally, if I am hungry. Otherwise I'll have an apple or yogurt and fruit or something midmorning. I enjoy cooking and would rather save my calories for Dinner, when I have time to prepare a meal. I figure as long as I am making good choices overall and eating a reasonable amount…

I also drink too much diet soda and not enough water. My solution has been to alternate between the two. Not perfect, but works okay.

There was a lunch today at work for a colleague who is leaving the team, and it is also my Husband's birthday so we will be hitting up Red Lobster for dinner. For lunch I ordered an asian chicken salad, hold the slivered almonds, dressing on the side. It showed up with crispy onions on top, but I ate around them.

That recipe looks fantastic for starters - thanks for posting it 'cuz I'm totally saving it! Whether the stats your cafeteria were reasonable totally depends on the size of the personal pizza, how much cheese was on it, and the crust. 1/6th of a 14" pizza (the amount in the cooking light website recipe) is a pretty big…

I use whatever's handy... crackers, bread crumbs, bread soaked in milk, leftover rice or Quinoa. I also add finely chopped veggies if I have any; for example: onions, carrot, celery, zucchini, or peppers.

dinneralovestory.com has some tasty, easy ideas and is a fun read to boot :)

Unsweetened Almond Milk. It's lower in calories than milk and doesn't upset my stomach.

My overall strategy for variety is to repeat things within a week, but switch it up the next week. I plan dinners and work lunches weekly for my husband and I and have found that a fairly specific set of criteria helps me to try new things. When I plan my week of meals I make sure to include 2 meals of seafood (at least…

I have some leftover Halibut already cooked, I'm going to add some asparagus, corn, and a little orzo, toss with lemon dressing, and serve it over greens with pita bread.

I cook a vegetarian meal for my husband and myself at least once a week. Here are some of my favourite easy meals: Onion, Pasta/Rice and Veggie bowl: Make this with a smaller portion of rice or pasta and a generous portion of vegetables 1. Start carmelizing onions 2. Cook some pasta or rice 3. Add veggies of your choice to…

Sounds tasty! Here is what I would do: When you enter the recipe, enter the number of balls you make from the ingredients in the number of servings box. Then when you log it, log the number you ate. Easy as oatmeal dark chocolate peanut butter cinnamon vanilla coconut balls.

Right now, does it seems like it is just trying to make you miserable out of spite? Been there. I can completely relate with 5 pounds making a difference in your appearance - I fluctuate between 120 and 125 and can always tell when I am on the higher end. You're a young woman and your body is still changing and figuring…

I pack my lunch and snacks for work every day except Fridays, and bring coffee in a travel mug. Here is how I decide what to do about free food at work: 1. Is it a social thing, ie. is everyone gathering for coffee and snacks? If so, I'll at least go over with my mug. I might take my planned snack (a piece of fruit or…

You could totally eat more. The recommendation on this site is to eat your exercise calories, and I'd say especially if you're under 1200 cals factorying in exercise and hungry that is a good idea. Plus, if you're breastfeeding, I've read that burns 200-600 cals/day. Add in some more fruit and veg, lean protein and whole…

1. Figure out what put you over and how to avoid it (which you already did) 2. Exercise (if possible) 3. Don't go hungry, but consider a lighter dinner like a salad with lean protein (if possible) 4. Don't stress about it, move on with the knowledge gained from step 1 (not optional! :) )

I plan my weekday dinners and lunches and pre-log in the morning based on what I packed in my lunch and what I am making for dinner that night. Makes things quick and easy. Then I adjust a bit as I go.

Before I make a list I make a menu of dinners and lunches for the week. Breakfast is usually something like fruit, eggs, cereal, oatmeal or yogurt so I stock up on those as needed. Weekend Lunches we sort of forage from leftovers. This week there are 2 nights I will not be eating at home (Family Picnic Sunday and dinner…

Carmelized onions and sauteed spinach over rice, topped with a fried egg. Yum.

I was not interested until I discovered that I could use my work health plan "wellness account" dollars for workout wear. Now it's a nice treat once a year :)

Where's the fruit and veg? What about yogurt with berries or a salad or something?
-
Definitely a NSV. Congratulations!

Maybe try weighing once a week so that you will see the cumulative effect of what you are eating. Usually I can be lax for a week with no real gain (Maybe half a pound), but week 2 it is noticeable. phinphanbill is right though, you have to make room for the indulgences sometimes or you're setting yourself up for failure.
