Get something you LOVE. I'm currently in the process of getting a tattoo removed. My $150 tattoo that I thought I liked(at 19) will have cost around $2,000 when I'm done. If I had thought more about the tattoo before I got it, I would have used that money for laser hair removal or ipl treatment for my face. Or a number of…

Didn't log in last week, I'm down to 183.8 as of Friday though. I'm out of commission for the next 1-2 weeks (can't go to the gym definitely this week, and possibly not next week either) and I'm planning on avoiding the scale during that time. So my next log in will probably be in October. Good luck everyone.

On what planet is 10-15 lbs in a little over one month a small goal?

I used bactrim (antibiotic) for 90 days, and Spiro for a year and a half, after suffering from cystic, pretty severe, acne for 13.5 years. Those meds, plus epiduo and ziana topicals really worked. I don't have health insurance now, so I've been off of everything for a few months now, but my skin is still better. Now,…

Today, my sister looked me up and down after picking me up at the gym, and said, "You better not get skinnier than me!" This is pretty huge, because she's #2 for responsibility for my poor body image (right behind me).

If you see yourself doing it for the rest of your life, sure. Think of it more as a lifestyle change than a diet. I know I could not replace my dinner with a shake, ever. I eat dinner post workout, so I am hungry. Breakfast or lunch? Sure. I sometimes have a homemade protein shake in lieu of one of those meals. But…

Minor setback, major bloat, up a pound. SW: 195 (size 14) CW: 186.6 (size 12) GW: 175? (size 10) Ultimate goal: around 20% body fat. Could happen by new years.

Wow, you look great! Congatulations! You are glowing! Keep up the good work!

You'll get more support from a site geared for teens, like sparkteen. MFP is for adults, 18+.

Go to bed?

Panache. They have underwire and no uniboob, but most importantly lock down your boobs more than Guantanamo.

2lbs might not be realistic for you. I'm 5'9.5" 185 and with MFP's allowance I have a goal of 1560 net calories/day for a 1lb/week loss. Edit: and I also workout 1.5-2 hours a day, 5 days a week, cardio and strength.

I was going to recommend SkinnyGirl, but the stuff I've tried is gross.

Oh. I just figured it'd be better/more accurate than pulling a number out of nowhere.

If you really want to know a more accurate amount of calories burned while doing this, wear a heart rate monitor. Also, I respectfully disagree that "meanies" are the reason people lack motivation. No one is responsible for your motivation, or lack thereof, but you. Nothing posted on this thread violates the terms.

MFP is grossly inaccurate with their numbers for exercise.
-
How are you calculating your burns? That seems like a lot.

Nordstrom sells a lot of brands for hard to find sizes. I'm a big fan of Freya and Panache. Panache makes the most awesome sports bras.

I keep getting ads for yoplait's pumpkin pie and apple crisp yogurts tonight. This doesn't bother me, but it is a strange coincidence because I was just at target earlier looking at the apple crisp ones and being sad that they were all out of the pumpkin pie ones. Haven't googled the product, but I did Google where to buy…

If I didn't have beauty product overload, I'd resubscribe to one or more beauty subscription. Birchbox and ipsy are $10/month and usually send 4-5 higher end beauty products (mostly deluxe sample size, but often a full size). PopSugar is about $35/month but they send a lot of stuff, from beauty products, to food, to…

I like to eat at least an hour before going to the gym. I usually eat 2-3 hours before. Afterwards, I eat usually within 30 minutes to an hour. I'm done with my workout around 5:30-6:00pm so it falls in line with dinner.

I'm hoping mine will decrease. I'm 5'9.5" 185 34H right now. I went from 170 32G to 130 32G a few years ago, but I was barely eating and only hiking and walking. Now that I'm using weights, I really really hope to get smaller. I'd love to be a C/D or even DD, but I doubt it. I haven't been a D cup since 8th grade! I've…

Check out a sporty store (Play It Again Fitness, Sports Authority, etc) and see if you can find a mat. I think they're gymnastics mats.. they're usually like an inch or two thick. At a yoga/pilates hybrid class I took a couple years ago, we used those (but put my yoga mat on top). I'm sure they're a lot more durable than…

Baby steps. When I first started hiking, I'd pretty much die 20 minutes in. But now I'm much better. Also, regarding geriatrics.. the first time I hiked with my grandfather, I was so embarrassed by how much he killed me. I was maybe 19 or 20 and at a healthy weight. He was in his 70's and could probably have lapped me, all…

Proper form and BREATHING will help. Holding your breath can cause a spike in blood pressure, which while lifting can cause you toget herniated. Don't know the science since I skated through anatomy, but that's what the trainer who showed me how to do squats with a barbell said.

There was an increase of highschool looking kids when school started back up, which was annoying as I usually don't have to wait for certain things, but it seems to have gotten back to normal. I do go around 3:30/4 though. Went around 5 once and it was really packed.

Also, since then, I sit/stand in the front of the room, allowing me to stare at my magnificence in the mirror.
