Due to a combination of poor eating habits and stress I put 12lbs on when my partner was diagnosed and treated for a brain tumour. That was over a year ago and it's still hanging around. We're going to Australia in 6 weeks time and I want to get back to feeling my best.

Sent a request, I'm 5'3 and looking for support to drop about 10 pounds gained earlier this year during a very stressful period in my life. The stress is all but gone but the weight is hanging around. :(

Been living with this exact attitude for 4 and a half years now. Been with the same team for the last two, I've watched them diet - slimming world, weight watchers, clean 9, detox, fasting, juicing, slimfast, go to the gym, don't go to the gym, low carb, high protein, you name it they've tried it and all the while…

Opie and Juice - SOA Dale, Abraham and Glenn- The Walking Dead Billy - The Champ Harry S Stamper - Armageddon - ridiculous I know but the scene where she says goodbye kills me

September 2013 - December 2013 then fast forward to 3 years later November 2016 (and still the same now). Consistency and hard work pays off

I totally get the weight loss thing. My reason for starting was purely fitness, my PT gave me the whole "you can't out exercise a bad diet" speech and got me to sign up to MFP to track my food. The weight loss was a happy side effect. The assumption that I used a quick fix to get there. The whole "What's your secret?"…

Saturday and Sunday are my rest days. :(

Happy to have new friends. I've been in maintenance for 2 years but looking to start dropping some bodyfat in time for a big holiday later in the year.

I'm 5'3 and went from 155lb to 125lb doing it in almost exactly the same way as you are doing it. I didn't do cheat meals, just did moderation in everything, still ate chocolate, cake, crisps etc. when I fancied them but not all in the same day and not every day. Consistency is your friend, just make sure you have more…

Twice a day 3 days a week and once on the other 2 days. Started off doing 7 times per week once a day and worked up to 3 times a day, but got to the point where I was so tired at the weekend that I couldn't function properly. Spoke to my trainer (who didn't know exactly how much I was doing) and was on the verge of…

Here are some of my before and afters, taken a year apart. I'm 5'3 too and lost 30lb initially going from 11st 1lb to 8st 13lb, I've settled at a maintenance weight of between 9st 2lb and 9st 5lb which allows me to eat like a normal person, nothing is off limits. It's all about balance. I've been maintaining for almost 2…

Hell yeah. I'm 44 (was 43 in the profile pic) and went from 155lbs down to 126lbs and have been maintaining for almost 2 years. Be consistent and you'll get results. It's hard work but worth it :#

I still here this every few weeks. I was lucky in that I lost everything in the first 6 months and haven't lost any more for 18 months. After I lost my initial 10lbs I started getting the "concern" about my weight loss and how I was taking things too far, too skinny etc etc. Some people are genuinely concerned, others see…

There's nothing wrong with 2 hours per se but it will catch up with you eventually. I did the same thing for about 18 months and didn't listen to my trainer when he was telling me I'd burn out and then I did. I was also eating a lot more than you. I felt amazing getting in as many workouts as I could and thought I was…

I do a class called Body Blast, devised by my PT, it's a 45 minute circuit/HIIT class and is BRUTAL with a capital BRUTAL.

Hope it's obvious that the last 3 pics are the before :(

I'm 5'3 and down from 155lb to between 125 and 128. Been in maintenance for just over a year now.

5'3 and 127lbs. Been maintaining between 125 and 128 since March 2014. Averaging about 1800 calories a day.

Heard it all numerous times. When they say 'you're too skinny' I just reply 'No I'm not' . That normally shuts them down. If it doesn't I tell them 'you're too opinionated'. That always shuts them down but they're usually unhappy about it. I don't care. I have the advice and support of my trainer and the other trainers at…

Exactly this. Scary thing is I had the same opinion.

Started August 2013 and lost 30lbs by March 2014. Been maintaining ever since. I signed up with a personal trainer from my gym to help me focus in the gym. He helped me see how to change my eating habits and gives me awesome weight and HIIT programs which I work through either on my own or with him 5 days a week. I'm a…

I wore a pair of bright red skinny jeans. I've always been so self concious I've never worn anything other than dark denim, black or navy trousers in the past. Never thought I'd be fit enough to wear anything that bright on my lower half. B)

5'3 43 yo Started at 155lb CW 126 Been at maintenance since March 2014. Eating between 1590 (sedentary) and 2000 (very active) calories, normally around 1800 daily.

Absolutely nothing. I will only eat/drink something if I like it. As it happens I did prefer diet coke to coke but then I don't really drink fizzy drinks any more so it's a moot point.

September 2013 and Early December 2014

I do both at least 4 days per week sometimes 5. As long as your nutrition and recovery are figured out you should be fine.
