I didn't say I was getting fat! And nothing is off with my logging.

I agree with what she is asking though. On the days this week when I was eating really clean my calorie count was well below 1200 which is not good. I don't care what anyone says, especially when you are exercising so I'm looking for healthy ways to increase my calorie count too. Babybearjess, I plan on adding in nuts and…

I just started it yesterday.

WW has always worked for me in the past. I took a long break and relied solely on MFP. Ever since I joined MFP, I don't know what it is about it but I haven't had a whole lot of luck. I have pretty much bounced up and down the same 5 pounds. I've tried more calories, less calories, carb cycling, you name it. I think one of…

After trying lots of different things that don't seem to work for me I signed up for WW again last night after a long hiatus. Time to put my money where my mouth is. I was pleased with day 1. However I've always liked the community here better. Feel free to add me!

I just found this thread. Very helpful. Why not start a group though so newbies like me don't have to scroll through so many pages? It seems like there's certainly enough interest! :)

I'm already eating a lot of these types of foods so I'm excited to pair them up correctly and give this a try!

I'm interested too. I just read This Is Why You're Fat and started incorporating some of her rules and I'm actually already starting to notice a difference. I was already eating kind of similar but not exactly. I think cutting sugar is making the biggest difference because I was still allowing a few things here or there…

Yes. I prefer them over turkey burgers.

I'm in the same boat. I am 5'1" and would love to lose around 15 pounds. I am trying to transition to a more paleo lifestyle. I run (am running my 4th 1/2 marathon next weekend), do strength training and Zumba. I would love to connect with more like minded people. :) Feel free to friend me!

Mine is open. It keeps me even more accountable when I know my friends are looking and I prefer friends who keep theirs open too. I like getting ideas from they eat.

I'm new to Paleo and looking for like minded friends too.

I'm new to Paleo and would love some friends eating the same. Tried it briefly just before Christmas and it worked great. Back at it again beginning today.

Yes, I started SS a couple of weeks ago.

I quit my online membership because I got lax about the tracking and felt it was a waste of money if I wasn't going to use it and starting using MFP and found I liked the social community better here.
-
Are you looking for people the same as you, thinner than you? You are welcome to friend me. I'd be happy to lend an ear.

I use the nutrition for 1/4 uncooked. I make mine from scratch too.

I've increased my protein. For example breakfast used to be just a bowl of steel cut oats. Now I have an egg with a couple of eggwhites scrambled on the side. It keeps me full all morning. I do greek yogurt for one of my snacks and cottage cheese for another. I've cut back on my added sugar wherever possible and it has not…

One of my favorites lately is greens, cucumber, apple and kiwi with a little bit of water to get it going and ice. I also like greens, a banana and some frozen strawberries.

I cook separately. I usually cook something for myself on Sundays that I can heat up throught the week because honestly I'm okay with a little monotony. I know it's not for everyone. It saves me time since I cook my husband his own meal. Not to mention it keeps me on track. By the time I get home from the gym I want to…

Omg, me too! I decided to return to what I know works for me so points it is!

I understand that. I'm just glad I'm not holding on to a bunch of water weight.

Yup, that's why I knew I should ask because yay, I lost this week but I realize I'm still not where I should be. I jumped from 1200 to 1460 my first week so I did give myself a little jump start and actually 2 weeks from now I'll be at 1850 so that's not too bad. To be honest the challenge for me will be figuring out what…

Thank you! I'm glad I'm taking it in small increments. I just couldn't handle jumping in with both feet and seeing the scale skyrocket. It was very mentally challenging at first but it's getting easier and I'm finding that even though I'm not meeting them, I am paying attention and working on my macros and I'm finding…

Week 2, upped by 100 and ate 1560 all week and I lost 1.8 pounds. I'm still 300 or so from TDEE so do I continue to increase?

You're welcome!

I get a lot of ideas from pinterest and I also take an outdoor bootcamp class once a week. Lots of lunges, squats, pushups, cardio, kettleballs, all kinds of stuff. And I found a great free download on Pinterest called 100 No-Equipment Workouts by Neila Rey.
