I believe it's all about the calorie intake and exercise out put, that being said, protein keeps me satiated longer than carbs do. The key is balance and moderation! If only I could always do this!!

I'm not a nutritionist, however I have been to one and she never recommended bagels or white rice as a good choice. Whole grains are always a better choice. Also, you seem to be obsessed with exercise, maybe some time out to relax would be better use of time. Hope this helps.
