I cooked a pot of the Brown Crowder peas with lots of ham. Also made a salad with bell pepper, chili pepper, tomato, onion and cucumber. Then had a little Blue Bell ice cream with half a serving of my Greek peachy vanilla frozen dessert. It was all very good.

I made hayashi rice... a Japanese tomato based curry. This one has thin sliced pork, potatoes, carrots, garlic and onion. The sauce has tomato paste, flour, butter chicken stock, water and rice wine. Simple and easy and very, very tasty!

Chicken tamale topped with homemade salsa, some of that black bean/potato/veggie salad I made for yesterday's potluck, raw asparagus (love it raw), and watermelon.

I had the peas and salad I had planned on having for lunch, but forgot to pack it in the ice chest before I got on the river this morning. My wife ate with a couple of her friends after work. She brought me a leftover taco and some refried beans. After all day on the river, I was going to eat whatever was in front of me.

48 pringles, container of bean dip, diet pepsi.

Every day? Doesn't seeing all this variety of food that people post on this thread make you want something besides Pringles and bean dip every day?

I was thinking the same thing....
