  • Thanks so much :#
  • Thanks everyone! Some great suggestions here! !! I do like the power crunch bars! Very good! I'm the type that needs variety and I think that's sometimes my problem. I seem to be craving more and wanting to eat more often and that needs to STOP! Here are my work badges :
  • Thanks! Sounds great!
  • Thanks. I seriously doubt that I "want" to give up and go backwards nor is it that "I don't want to" keep on. It's a real struggle! I hear of other people with more support and tips though, and I think that'd be very helpful. I'm just really tired of trying to get protein. I do not feel like exercising. That's the reality…
  • How soon can protein bars be added? I know the dr. office can tell me, but just wondering your experience? Thanks!
  • I'm 3 weeks out and experiencing the same! It's really making me feel like not eating anything. So today I just went with some chicken broth and a little cheese. I'm not sure what to do either.

  • Same here!!! I really wish there were protein alternatives.
  • So Wed. will be 3 weeks. I've been so tired lately and not feeling like eating much at all. Yesterday I had a little eggs and cheese and a packet of Healthwise chicken soup. Today I'm still feeling pretty weak and seems like my stomach is a little bloated or very full. I'm hoping this gets better!
  • Anyone try whey liquid protein 42 fruit punch? It's only 3.5 oz. I'm thinking that amount would be so much easier. But not sure it's a good idea?
  • Thanks for sharing! The workshop sounds great!
  • Thanks! It's not really going away today. Not sure what's going on. I'm having so much trouble trying to get in enough fluids too!
  • Sounds great! I'm looking forward to this after Sat.!
  • I did think that maybe I wasn't really hungry, but my stomach is growling and I guess I'd say hurting a little. I'm just not much on liquids in general. I do like the Healthwise cream of chicken and tomato soups that I got from my Dr office. I really like popsicles. I need to get to the store for some yogurt and think that…
  • Sounds good! I'm finding I need variety and am hungry in the day for something with more substance. That's why I'm thinking a good yogurt may help. I'm really looking forward to soft foods next week!!!!! Trying to get through this part. I have found I don't like the blue or orange isopure. And right now the only stores I'm…
  • Sounds good Rob! Maybe a variation of this will be good in the next phase for me (soft) since I'll be able to add some fish.
  • I'm trying to do really well and am so far. Just feeling hungry. That's the tough part. I think I need to get some yogurt or something.
  • Thanks everyone! Had surgery Wed. And going home today! It has definitely been a rough start with nausea, but feeling better today thankfully. Now it's just adjusting. I appreciate the encouragement!
  • Way to go! Thanks everyone for the info! Today was my final dr appt before surgery on the 6th. I haven't had to do a pre-op diet. I wonder if anyone ever experiences difficulty with the staples being in forever. I suppose I need to go ahead and purchase all the vitamins too. It'll be time soon!
  • That does help, thanks! This is more of what I was looking for when asking these questions as I have read back through many many posts and these seem to continue to be what I'd like to know more about. I'm worried a little about dumping syndrome and really hope things normalize in that area for me. I guess when it comes to…
  • Thanks everyone! I'm pretty sure I'm going with sleeve. It's good to hear this information. My goal is to lose about 120-140 lbs. I too am concerned about the dumping, anemia, and rerouting. It sounds like the sleeve is a pretty successful tool. I'm just hoping I can put my mind to it!
