I'm most definitely a meat eater - almost exclusively carnivore. Everyone's different, but eating a high-protein, moderate-fat, low-carb diet works best for me. Anything else, and I balloon up pretty darn quickly.

I'm 5'5", and my heaviest was 270 lbs in 2008. Currently sitting at 180 right now. I should have hit my goal, 160, two months ago, but I've been slacking. :P I'm on it again, though!

Almonds. Each one is, pretty much, half its weight in fibre--which brings the net/overall carb value down. That, along with the fat content, keeps you fuller and satiated longer, too. :) http://www.marksdailyapple.com/almonds/

I've lost 7 pounds, safely, in the past 3 days, so I guess it's possible. But it all depends on individual biological and dietary factors. That goal is DEFINITELY doable. I lost 28 pounds in 6 weeks or 42 days, and I'm still losing (this coming from someone who's struggled with weight issues her ENTIRE life).
