The goal I set is for ME. And to everybody that said I blocked you, actually I didn't. You don't bother me enough for that. But I will say that someone reported a comment that I made to them. It's funny how you can't take what you give.

Thank you. To lose the amount of weight I'm talking about is crazy, but I feel if I set it high I will work that much harder to get there even if it does not happen. That's how I motivate myself.

My issue is this: where in my post did I say I was starving myself? As I read through some responses, people are saying "this is starvation". I'm not starving myself to reach my goal. I'm just eating a lot less than what I used to. I used to eat pasta, bread, and pizza all the time and a lot of emotional eating. I have that goal in mind for myself due to the fact that my doctor told me I have pre-diabetes and as I read online ir can be reversed if you get you weight down with diet and exercise(I do a lot of researching). By the way, I'm 5'6 and my doctor told me I should be around 145(i think). I told her I was to get down to at least 200, but she said her goal weight for me is 180.

Thanks everybody for your input. Even though everyone always says 1-2 lbs/week is healthy weight loss, I kinda disagree. People are different and everybody's body reacts different to diet and exercise. I've also read that the more weight you have to lose the quicker it comes off.

I do have a lot of weight to lose. I'm 275, down from 289. My doctor wants me to be at 180. I lost 14 pounds my first month of diet( eating healthier and smaller portions) and exercise, so I'm hoping to continue this month to month.

Juice fasting might work for you. A lot of people including doctors tell you not to do quick weight loss of "fad" diets, because it does not teach you good eating habits after that is over which means you will gain the weight back. If it works for you, that's great. Once it is over you have to be in control of your diet…
