  • Preggers and Bubba. I have several pregnant friends on facebook and I find myself on here more because I keep seeing statuses such as how they are 'love being preggers, but can't wait to meet their ickle bubbas'... Ugh. You are pregnant with a baby damnit, talk like an adult!!! (Yes I've been there myself and no, I never…
  • I don't wear any either, unless sometimes I might wear a bit of foundation if my skin is looking a bit rough, but usually I can't be bothered. My profile pic is me with a naked face.
  • Week 1: 185.2 Week 2: 181.3 Week 3: 182.6 Week 4: 180.8 Total loss 4.4lbs I could have done so much better if I'd stayed on track this month, but never mind 4.4lbs down is still better than 4.4lbs up! Well done to everyone who managed to lose the 10lbs or those who came close!

  • Start weight: 184.8 Week 1: 185.2 Week 2: 181.3 Week 3: 182.6 I'm really not doing that great at this challenge. I put on 4lbs over my birthday weekend!! Luckily I've lost 3 of those, but I think we can safely say I'm not going to have lost 10 lbs by the end of the month lol!

  • I had this for dinner tonight, made it with low fat sausages and it was delicious! I tweaked the recipe a bit though, I used chickpeas instead of beans as I don't like beans and obviously used butternut squash instead of pumpkin. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/sausagepumpkinandsag_92737
  • Start weight: 184.8 Week 1: 185.2 Week 2: 181.3 Goal Weight: 174.8 Total Loss 3.5lbs = 6.5lbs to go! Thats a bit better than last week! I need to lose 1.3lbs by Monday to reach my birthday goal of 20lbs, It's just about do-able!! Well done on the losses everyone, good luck this week

  • Start weight: 184.8 Week 1: 185.2  Goal Weight: 174.8 I kind of knew this weigh in wasn't going to be good, but it's still disappointing. TOM started today though so hopefully some water weight should shift soon and I've just increased my calories so fingers crossed I can get out of this stall I've been stuck in for…

  • Not doing so great here - I've gained! I went up by 2lbs but I've nearly lost all of that now and I'm only .2 over what I was when I originally weighed in, hoping to show a loss when I weigh in tomorrow, even if it's a tiny one! I've re-worked my whole diet, increased my calories. Changed my routine a bit. I'll see how it…
  • Thanks for the replies! I'm guessing this whole thing is really trial and error, but I will consider getting a pedometer. I would love a fitbit, but at the moment I can't really afford one. Maybe in the summer when I'm working more I'll look into it. Maybe I'll have a go at 1.4 for 2 weeks then I can decide whether I need…
  • No problem! Here is the one for very active (1.7) BMR 1262 Maintenance: 2186 Cut 1824 Build: 2468 Yeah I did decide to go for lightly active in the end, now the weather is getting warmer work will be getting busier so I'll definitely bemore active!!
  • Hi, I've worked you out using lightly active (1.3) and moderately active (1.5) I can try another one if you want though. This is what I came up with: Lightly Active: BMR: 1262 Maintenance: 1641 Cut: 1395 Build: 1887 Moderately Active: BMR: 1262 Maintenance: 1894 Cut: 1610 Build: 2178 Hope that helps!
  • Thanks for the spreadsheet! But I have a question! I noticed that you say not to eat back your exercise calories and I totally understand why because you already take your exercise into account beforehand. But what if I was to set my activity level to sedentary / lightly active which gives me a BMR of 1614, maintenance of…
  • I can't give you much advice regarding youtube, but I will say that I own the Kettlercise for women DVD and I do really enjoy it. I spent a long time choosing my kettlebell workout and I'm glad I went for that one. It has a great section at the beginning which really explains how to do each move properly and then a good…
  • Start weight: 184.8 Goal Weight: 174.8 Good luck everyone! Really looking forward to this challenge :drinker:

  • I'm in! At new years I set myself a goal of losing 20lbs by 19th March (my birthday) and I have 6.2lbs to go so I need a bit of a kick up the backside!! See you on Friday!!
  • Brilliant post, thought it should be repeated on the new thread. Before Christmas I was eating all my calories, plus eating back my exercise cals and dropping weight really well, then Christmas came and I over indulged (didn't we all!) but then I started cutting back more and more calories and doing more and more exercise…
  • I've always stopped mine as soon as it goes below 100. Don't know why, it just seems like a good number. Obviously if I'm still moving (doing a cooldown or something) I wont stop it until I finish. Works for me.
  • Is anyone weighing in this week? I will anyway. Start weight 199, Current weight 195.8 Total loss 3.2.
  • Weigh in: 197 Goal 189 Down 2.2lbs. I'm sure once I finish the shred the weight will fall off, but I'm still on level one so it wont be any time soon. Doubt I'll make the 10lbs on this challenge, but I did so well with LIBC I don't mind. Plus I'm having quite good inch loss with the shred and you can't have it all!!
  • Well done xxPeppaxx, Nice loss! Start weight 199.2 Current weight 199.2 Total loss... erm 0lbs lol I started 30DS a couple of days ago and last time I tried doing it I didn't lose weight for the 10 days I was doing it, had to quit because of an unrelated inury though. Probably DOMS or something.
  • Starting weight: 199 Goal weight 189
  • Another vote for cold turkey here. I did it with tea, you get used to it quickly enough.
  • Another vote for hubby over here! It's not so bad on here but on facebook I notice people suddenly start using child speak when talking about their children. Eg, 'ickle bubbas' No, they are called babies. Back to MFP though, I notice a fair few people people have 'weight-ins' as opposed to 'weigh-ins'. Is that a…
  • I'm totally in! :drinker: I loved LIBC, and it's amazing how much weight we all lost! Thanks for setting up this group :)
  • Lol, I thought this was a thread escaped from the Pastafarian group!! RAmen!!
  • Woohoo!! I did it!! Not only did I do it - I smashed it lol!! My weigh in this week - 200.4, down 22.6lbs in total:drinker: Thanks everyone for the support and good luck to everyone crossing the finishing line - you can do it! This has been a fantastic group and we've all come so far together, I never truly believed I'd…
  • I updated the spreadsheet this morning, but forgot to post in the thread :embarassed: Now I'm on the wrong computer and can't access the spreadsheet.... OK, weigh in... 203.6 - I've lost something, but I'm not sure what, because I updated the spreadsheet without making a note of my old weight first :noway: So close to goal…
  • Sounds like me a few days ago, then bang, the next day I had a cold  Hope you're OK! I exercised for the first time since Tuesday yesterday, now I'm at the tail end of this cold and I had the opposite effect, my heart rate was up at 170 - 175 (just out of the 'zone' according to my HRM) and I was burning hot, even…

  • Weigh in: 204.2 2.6lbs down this week, 18.8 in total, just 1.2lbs to go!!!! Eeek, I'm so excited!! Unless I break my leg tomorrow and have to spend the next three weeks in bed, I think I can do this no problem  I've had a horrible cold this week (as any of you who are friends with me are no doubt bored of hearing…
