Well done! xx

Your prettiness! You are super cute :)

Generally speaking, you can continue most exercises during pregnancy. As your bump gets bigger switching to lower impact sports like swimming / walking over something like running, would probably be more comfortable. My midwife advised to take extra care in the third trimester when lifting weights as a hormone that is…

17lb is what keeps you motivated! People who see us often don't always notice the results. Keep at it and they will notice before long. Just a thought, have you bought any new clothes? Sometimes our clothes get baggy as we lose weight and when you buy something new that actually fits well, people sometimes then notice the…

Looks like way more than 18lb difference, well done! You look fabulous x

When I go on the cross trainer for an hour it tells me I have burnt almost 900 calories!

As posted above it's all about calories, but I find things like lean meats, brown rice, vegetables and most fruits good for weight loss. That's because I find they fill me up for a relatively low amount of calories. Try making your favourite meals but bulking them out with low calorie salads or vegetables. I personally…

I just ate two scrambled eggs with 100g of Mushrooms and that keeps me filled up until lunch. But if I was working out within a couple of hours I would probably go with porridge with some honey or fruit. On a weekend if I work out early I tend to not have anything. I eat my evening meals quite late so I figure I have…

I love Christmas foods but I also know that eating far too much with leave me feeling pretty peeved with myself. So I am planning on eating at maintenance calories for most of the Christmas week. I won't lose anything but if I stick to maintenance then any gains should really only maybe be from increased sodium compared to…

There are some things I just cannot have in our house. One is Nutella. My youngest kid loves it and if we are out I will buy him the snack and go tubs....but if it's in the house.... I just don't have the willpower to say no. I get that I can have a bit and count the calories, but I just can't stop. Some people may say…

Wow you look like a completely different person, well done you!

I actually agree with most of what you say. I think cooking from scratch and trying to have proper nutritious family meals is a great thing. I just don't always jump on the whole "clean eating" bandwagon. If losing weight you can do it eating lots of kinds of foods. But actually, if you have children and spend a lot of…

I'd just weigh everything. If they say that 29g is 120 calories then I would weigh out 29g and eat that. Granola is generally pretty high in calories which is a shame as I love most versions of it!

Oh and by the way, some of the scenery brought up in the search looked amazing! Wow!

Wow I had to Google where you lived. I just can't imagine living somewhere so remote. I always say I would love to live out in the country, but even so, where I consider "country" is probably nothing like where you live. I live in Leeds, England. I live less than 3 miles outside the 3 or 4th biggest city in the UK. So I…

I think the idea with keto is that after a while it can dim your appetite, so eventually you will gradually eat less calories. Might just take a while until that happens. Good luck.

I don't know about it but I am guessing it removes the cash from your pocket and not much else?

I like mine with golden syrup. Also I sometimes do overnight oats with grated apple, cinnamon and raisins.... reminds me of apple pie - yum!

What did your daughter say about it? What results did she have?
-
I never heard of it, but unless someone is ill their body should do a decent job of cleansing itself. If you already eat very healthy I can't see it holding any benefit for you.
-
I don't know if it's photoshopped but everyone has their own body shape. Your friend may NEVER get the same shape regardless of how she trains. I could understand if she had said that is her inspiration, but to actually think you can get the same body shape is unrealistic. But she could get very low body fat and some good…

If you aren't sure about lifting or worried about poor form without a PT, then try starting out with some other strength training that doesn't require weights. I've seen some really good results from people doing body weight strength training at home.

I asked this question too and got the same response, start now! Make sure that you take measurements as sometimes lifting weights can seem to slow your weight loss on the scales, but mostly it's retained water from your sore muscles. And yeah you might burn more calories from running for an hour than lifting. But the…

How can someone not lose weight if they eat like 400 calories a day? Surely the body needs more than that just to function? Even with a screwed metabolism and thyroid problems, someone who is overweight should lose weight if they eat 400 cals a day? Or even if they are struggling to reach 1200 cals? Surely 200lb takes more…

Just take it one day at a time. One meal at a time. If you don’t already have the MFP app on your phone try adding that, it saves me so much time compared to the online version. Even if you have a bad day, log everything. I sometimes think “oh I have ruined today and might as well have that bar of chocolate too” when…

Absolutely right pink pixie!

Narciso Rodriguez for her. Absolutely love it/

How many cals? I tend to stay away from fruit juice because for what you get I find it too high calorie. Like I can have a decent amount of chocolate or a glass of juice and I know what I would rather have!
