I say eat it too. That would probably be a once in a lifetime trip for me. I would regret not trying the things I wanted to if I restricted myself on a vacation like that.

I still eat chocolate/cupcakes, etc on occasion so I can't reply in regards to that. BUT, I did stop drinking Pepsi and Dr. Pepper regularly. Every now and then I decide that I want one and when I start to drink it, it is definitely too sweet for me to finish. I try not to have them very often though because it was such a…

Thank you! I haven't made a lot of drastic changes because I've done that before and it just doesn't work for me. I LOVE food, so I am trying to focus on something that I can stick to. I've cut back a little bit on how much I eat out and what I do eat when I'm there. I've become more mindful of portion sizes and what I can…

I love Dean Winchester! ETA: I love food too. I'm occasionally envious of all the tasty stuff he eats.

You look great! Wonderful job!

I think it's hard for everyone to agree on this because what is physically attractive to one isn't necessarily to others. My husband isn't too big, but he's around 230lbs. Some might not be attracted to him, but I am. He has a nice beard and I like that - beautiful green eyes. Really strong legs. Of course that isn't all…

I appreciate all of the responses! I'd like to switch to turkey for beef sometimes - we're mainly a chicken eating family but do eat beef burgers/tacos/meatballs/spaghetti sauce occasionally. My husband's not picky but I have a 6 year old and 2 year old and would like to ease into it, hence the reason why I thought to mix…

Hahaha so is everyone else.

Mash the avocado up really well to a creamy consistency. Add lime juice, garlic powder, a tiny bit of salt. We like to put in diced roma tomatoes and red onion too. I can't stand store bought, but I love making my own!

It seems like there's a little more definition in the belly area, at least to me.

Bingeing is not going to help you. Don't. Do. It.

I weighed myself after a little bit of a wild weekend. I like to see how the numbers respond to what I eat, whether it goes up or down. I also think that it keeps me in check, because I don't take the fluctuations for more than what they're worth unless the numbers continue to go up.

Great job!

If my name and running were to ever go in the same sentence, it would be for Mexican food. Seriously.

You could do a nice chicken taco salad with lettuce as a base if you had chicken. Chicken, a little cheese, onion, tomatoes, taco sauce, a little refried beans, dab of light sour cream - it's actually pretty filling.

Thanks for the replies! I do live in a city with a moderate sized university and hospital, so I'll try to do some digging to see if they do it.

You look like a totally different person - and very happy! Way to go!

You look good! Hard work pays off!

Very nice!

Great job! You can really tell the difference. Btw, I love your ticker! :)

What an accomplishment! It only gets better from here!

When I started, I was right at 300 but have lost around 12 pounds. I cut back on the pop. I used to drink multiple Dr. Pepper's or Pepsi's a day, and got it down to one a day. Then I decided to cut that out as well because I wanted to eat instead of drink my calories. I started drinking more unsweet tea and diet pop. Now I…
