I'm 5'4" (I say 5'5" to make the high weight not sound so bad) and have been 200-210 over the past 5 years. I've just gotten to 196, but a couple years ago I got to 185 by using mfp and working to get back there and below! Please fell to friend me cuz I can use the extra motivators!

How long have you been at this? Once your body gets use to only 1200 calories you won't be as hungry as often. I'm generally not that hungry, but if I am, I eat something that will make me feel better for the moment.

I lost my toenail too because it was slightly too long and was hitting up against my shoe. It ended up turning black, then fell off. Not sure if that's the same thing you have but just a warning because I had no idea that even happened! Yuck! It's grown back and no problems now but I was freaked!

Ractayjon, so glad you said that cuz I had a big gain the day before and now during I'm kind getting back to normal but couldn't understand why the big gain then drop!

mamilel mine was no fun because she and her last friend one had themselves as the last friend so I was in a loop. She hasn't been on for a month.

I use to think 1200 would be like starving yourself until I started doing it. I think it's probably harder for us, that are more overweight to go from very large portions to small portions. For 20 years I've only had bm's once a week. One time I went a month without and that was horrible! When I started drinking coffee, I've been a bit more regular, every other day maybe. I've always wondered if there is a correlation to that and being overweight. How many thin people out there are not regular??

I find that even if I stay within my calorie count, I will weigh 1-2 lbs more, exactly 2 days later, on the scale. It will then take at least 2 more days to go back to where I started. The only thing I don't log is my drinks and really the only thing I feel like I should is my coffee because I put skim milk in it but it's not worth it to me to add that little bit of milk.

I know what you are feeling! I'm sorta there now. Each day I say, tomorrow will show on the scale. Grrrr! Is there anything you can do different in your menu than what you are doing?
