Supper: Greek salad Dessert: Mashed frozen banana & walnuts

Haha! Definitely not the same as ice cream. But could be a nice lactose-intolerant/vegan option for people who need it.

I tried posting this under an existing conversation about posting pics of our food. Somehow it ended up as its own discussion. Oops!

Not black. Was a fresh banana cut into chunks then frozen for 2 hrs.

Hi! I just joined roller derby too (go Gas City Rollers!!!). I read a few blogs that said they compare it to aerobics in MFP. I just put skates on for the first time tonight and practice was 2 hrs long, we started with an intense 15-20 min off-skate warmup of burpees, planks, etc then I skated on my own with help from…

340 calories for approx. 2.5 cups of chili, plus 50 calories for 2 tbsp of sour cream. I posted the recipe on the community blog "Recipes" about 2 weeks ago, titled "Vegetarian Chili".

Thanks

I don't lift weights, my workouts are walking or dance/kick boxing videos. Is 30% too much protein then?

I would go on chocolate binges - 3 king size bars in one sitting. Also my usual at McDonalds used to be a Big Mac combo (sometimes super sized) with root beer PLUS an extra chicken sandwich that I'd eat on the car ride home from the drive-thru. Used to eat an entire large pizza to myself, washed down with 2-3 cans of pop.…

Last night I discovered the simplistic joy of frozen blueberries. They are like mini popsicles that burst in your mouth. So tasty! Only downfall is they turned my mouth blue haha!

Hi there! My stats: 29 yrs old, 5'4'', SW 200 lbs, CW 192 lbs, GW 140 lbs. When I started on MFP about 2.5 months ago I was set to lose 2 lbs/week, and MFP calculated a 1200 calorie daily budget for me. After a few weeks, when I started to add exercise (even though I was eating back my burned calories), I found 1200 was…

OMG!!! Love the Nintendo sleeve!!! We are kindred spirits, I plan on getting a Super Mario Bros sleeve too!!

I have over 60 hours of ink; my back is almost fully covered in black and grey - outer space/solar system theme, my right ribcage is a tribute to Mexico because I love the culture - piñata with chicklets and a sugar skull, and my right sleeve is all candy (connecting to the Mexico piece). I can't figure out how to post…

Everyone's food looks SOOOO good! Bump for ideas down the road

One of my coworkers brought 2 big trays of brownies last week. And today is free pizza for students (I work in a college) so I can smell cheese and pepperoni that is 30 feet away from my desk. I feel your pain!!

Ooh! Glad you posted that. I just bought my first brick of tofu and don't know what to do with it yet. Trying to ween myself away from meat after watching numerous documentaries about factory farming...I'm disgusted with our species for how we treat animals.

I make this about twice per month. Change up the veggies to whatever I have on hand - radishes, carrots, celery, peppers, onion, etc. LENTIL, BLACK BEAN, AND VEGGIE SALAD Makes 5 2-cup servings. Lasts all week in the fridge, perfect for people with little time for daily meal prep! *Could easily replace Greek dressing with…

Agreeing with other responders, I lowered my weekly loss goal to 1 lb/week and MFP increased my calorie limit from 1270 to 1470/day. This is definitely helping me stay satisfied. I also have my activity level set as sedentary (work an office job too), so any exercise I complete gets logged and then I am allowed to eat even…

Hi, Congrats on taking the step to join MFP. This is a great community full of support, it has definitely helped keep me on track. I don't workout in a gym, all of the exercise I do is walking or workout videos in the comfort of my living room. Here are the links to a few of the workouts I have been doing: Kickboxing, 45…

Hi Stephanie! Thanks for sharing your story! I have been using MFP daily for about 5 weeks now and so far have lost 10 lbs. I've been logging what I eat, even if I binge, and have started exercising (used to be a really bad, lazy couch potato). So far I am feeling much better, don't eat nearly as much take…

I watch YouTube videos through my TV. Whatever kind of workout you are looking for - walking, dancing, aerobics - there's all kinds of stuff on there. I play Just Dance (without a Wii) and use this playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfAP-hWHt-Tl8iWQnzxz-RzBQO3zzzihn

Mash up avocado on a whole wheat pita. Yum

Definitely a change in your face. WTG!

Happy to hear you are committing! I have been off-and-on with MFP for about 6 months and finally got serious last month. The forums and adding friends REALLY helps me stay on track. Add me and we can support each other through this :)
-
Starting to log my food, made me much more accountable for my choices. One McDonald's combo equaled my entire daily calorie limit.

Sorry, don't have any tips for you. I just wanted to make a comment to help boost your post to the top of the forum list in the hopes it gets the attention of someone who can help. Best of luck achieving your goals :)

Your body might be in starvation mode if you only consume 900-1200 calories per day. Women need AT LEAST 1200 calories/day just to function in a healthy way. This might explain why you aren't losing. Increase your food intake to fuel your body.

I started at 200 lbs and MFP calculated 1270 calories per day for me. After 2 weeks I found myself binging because I was so hungry, so I changed my goal from 2 lbs to 1 lb loss per week and it upped my calories to 1480 (I am also set as sedentary activity and eat back all of my exercised calories burned and have still been…

Feel free to add me! I log daily, my diary is open to friends. I believe a strong support system is essential and I have found some great people on here. Best of luck on your weight-loss journey :)
