To clarify, I did say "refined" sugar is bad for you, not ALL sugar http://life.familyeducation.com/nutrition-and-diet/foods/36008.html?page=3&detoured=1 http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/sugar-problem/refined-sugar-the-sweetest-poison-of-all

Actually I don't believe that they are "actual" pounds, I don't think my body properly processes carbs at that time of the day and I just feel better if I avoid them then. Dispelled as a myth or not, it matters to my body and that's what I'm listening to.

I'm a solid 5, no less... early breakfast before my workout, snack, lunch, snack, early supper... then zero, zip, nada, nothing after dinner... it's working for me, 35lbs down and still dropping.

Hi all, please feel free to add me as a friend. I'm 45 yrs old, gained over 35 lbs when I quit smoking in 2001 and tried for years to get it off... in the last 3 yrs I've lost most of it, I have about 6-8 lbs left to reach my goal weight and I feel FANTASTIC!!! looking to motivate and inspire anyone who is interested! I…

I'm going to repost something I put on another thread because it seems relevant... Just my 2 cents... for me.. when I have "bad carbs" (white bread, white rice, white pasta etc) with supper I am almost always up a pound or two in the morning. Think of it this way, carbs are "sugar energy" meant to help you run around and…

Think of it this way, carbs are "sugar energy" meant to help you run around and do stuff.. what are you doing after dinner? Sitting on the couch? Do you really need…

Hi there! I totally get your frustration!!! I gained over 35 lbs in 2001 when I quit smoking and when I hit my 40's couldn't lose a single pound to save my SOUL!!! It was crazy! I've recently lost about 30 of those lbs (now at 128 ish) and only have 5-8 lbs left to reach my goal weight (I'm only 5'3".. ). I have lots of…

Oh my, where do I start!?? My "back boobs" disappeared, my abs are now super tight and flat, my butt lifted, my love handles disappeared, my waist shrunk and my thighs thinned (no longer brush up against each other when I walk which is an AWESOME feeling). I'm almost at my goal weight and I feel like a million bucks! I…

Shakeology 3 day cleanse usually results in a 5-8 lb weight loss in most people, I've seen it happen time and time again. It's a great kick-start to a good exercise/nutrition program. I personally did a 21 day program called the ultimate reset and lost 8 lbs, considering I'm 45 and was about 138lbs at the time, that's…

WendyTerry420 is right, it means that whatever you're looking at is mostly sugar and probably refined sugar which is bad for you. Also avoid corn syrup and it's derivatives like the plague, it's even worse!

There could be a number of reasons why you went up and you may very well need to bump up the calories but keep the following things in mind. 1. Are you tracking EVERYTHING you eat AND drink including what you put ON the food? There may be hidden calories in your diet. 2. Are you including protein with every meal? It's…

I like to go for a fun activity or "for me" day, some that I've done have been tree-top trekking, zip-lining, skiing, golf, massage, spa, winery tour, boating, off-roading, hiking, day-sailing... I know there's more but I can't think of them at the moment lol

I drink Shakeology, it totally helps take the cravings away.

Hip Hop Abs is actually on sale right now! It was $59 and they dropped it to $19. Message me if you want more details on that one. Other than that, Tai Cheng is fairly low impact and most people are good doing Power 90 as well.

Strength training is an excellent off-day activity but you shouldn't push your legs too much, these are the days they need rest to repair the muscles. It's better to focus on your upper body on those days.
