When I do cardio I like the Adaptive Motion Trainer by Precor best. It is a cross between an elliptical and a stair stepper. I don't do much treadmill. arthritis in hips, knees, ankles, and back. I save my high impact activity tie for working in my veggie gardens.

If you still want to do cardio then try the high intensity stuff. I get on a machine, put in on manual then fluctuate the resistance to get the HIIT training. I can do 45 seconds, but I am still fat as I only started working out 2.5 months ago. Plus I am eating at a deficit and it is hard for me to make improvements right now. I concentrate on just maintaining.

I stretch at the end of the workout. My warm up is the treadmill. I will often do light stretching between sets.. I am supposed to do a stretching routine on my off days but I am a slacker. I would love to learn some yoga,,,, but,,,,, :-)

Yea, my tinnitus started a year ago. Only in one ear. They say it is from turbulence in the artery and hearing loss of 15% in that ear. I never thought it would be menopause related. Interesting . . .

I sneak in core focus items everywhere. I love the plank. Easy to do almost anywhere. When at the gym it is easy to do the Ab crunch and back extension machines. When on cardio machines if you let go of the handles and keep up your pace it helps your balance, and your core.
