Hey! I'm here in Vic and I'm back after a long break aka letting it all slide back to where I was at the beginning...

Hi there, I've sent you a friend request. I agree about the 'sweet spot'. I woke up and had a white soft bread roll for breakfast, because I'm certain there is a conspiracy against me to have delicious things in the house. I used butter and had a slice of cheese. I know it's not the end of the world though, and it means…

Thanks for your inspirational story and pictures. TBH, I thought you had some chin in the first pics (I do). I think you look a hundred percent better now, and I can see the shape of your face, and it's lovely. Now, the best thing you can do for skin is just get enough vitamins and oils, and it will tighten with time.

I agree with the above - and I second the question about how you're measuring your exercise calories. My partner and I have a hell of a lot of difference between us in terms of movement. Whilst we both have the same job, she naturally does a lot more than I tend to do in terms of movement. My movement needs to be more…

And my favourite - protein powder, you can get pea protein or other plant based proteins. This is basically just protein if you get an unflavoured one, you can basically put it in anything and it increases your protein. I'm a vegetarian too, although I eat more dairy and egg than you as I don't have any sensitivities. I…

Wow, that's an incredible story. I'm literally just on here taking a break from writing lesson plans about MS. What a barrier you have broken through. Thank you for the inspiration.

I find the same with hunger cravings, actually. Especially those that come from feeling bored and unsettled (i.e., not really 'hunger' cravings).

I thought that it couldn't hurt, as long as I was in my calories. I learned my lesson when I had to be rushed to hospital to have my gallbladder removed. Everything in moderation, and balance, I say.

Good tip k_sinc, I drink it but don't like it much, I think a good shake is called for.

Well done on running the 5k - that is my long term goal too. What an inspiration you are. -

I had nearly 190 pounds to lose. Now I have lost 50 pounds so I still have 140 pounds to lose. But I hate thinking about it that way! It has been slow progress for me, and I have let myself slide over the last few months. I am back kicking goals though. For me, I like to thin of it more about how far I have already come…

Thanks for all the tips with Black beans... I will have to look up. As an aside, I make my hummus with no oil. Tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and water. Yummo. Just make sure you have enough water, otherwise you shrivel up. Traditional hummus actually doesn't have oil. desert candy. blogspot. com.…

Hey there Plight, you can reset it, sometimes it errors, I think it may be a timezone thing. You can ask MFP to look at it and they fix it for you if you logged. Cheers, Tanya (219 days :))

You can add me :)

Good on you Skim, you really are an inspiration. Not only in your achievements so far but in your strength. I lost only 200g this week, and have a lot to lose. I did lose a significant amount by measurements, especially from my thighs. I don't think I am measuring properly though, because they really go up and down. Part.…

Has it subsided? Is he on here? Might be worth him bumping up his calories a little (still in deficit) and making sure he has enough fibre as well. Poor guy, sometimes these issues can be really confusing

Hey guys, I struggle with iron. For lunch today, I made a 'lentil bolognese' and my iron still didn't go up. Poods was correct, most of the data isn't even entered. I recommend eating foods high in iron, that you enjoy, and getting tested every now and then. :) Good luck!

Hi There, I have sent you a friend request. Basically, I have the same issues, and I am very similar, including taste wise, except that I'm a vegetarian. I just wanted to add my two cents worth on this. I still "cave" every now and then. One big lesson that I am starting to learn though is that in order to feel better and…

I feel discouraged sometimes when I look at myself, but I get compliments and have lost less. I can't really see the difference myself. Have others noticed it on you? Sometimes we are our own biggest critics.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this thread, so hello. It's Sunday morning here, I'm on the computer with a coffee in hand. But it seems that you are all still at Saturday morning, so I will keep in line. My goals for January is to get at least a half an hour of exercise every day, straight. I haven't been very good at this during…

Hey everyone! Vegetarian, Melbourne, 65 kg to lose. Have lost 15 so far, so a very long journey for me. I'm here for the long haul. I have a public diary and would love to have other Aussie friends with open diaries. Feel free to add me :)

I track iron instead of sugar. I find it helps to bring iron to the front of my mind and in terms of long term energy and well being, I need to monitor iron intake as I am susceptible to anemia. I just glanced through my sugars then and found most of them go up to 63 grams at the highest (and that's when I've had a little…
