Good luck to you climbingup, I lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago, the health benefits were more than I ever imagined. Do update how you're getting on x

Hi sparky, well done on your loss, I'm crossing fingers for another pound off by my official weigh in friday. Having a good week though, ate out lunch time today so had a lighter dinner and going to brave the cold and walk the dog now. Hope you're ok after the dentist x

Good morning all :) hope everyone is having a good start to the week  I'm in the UK too colliefit, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I joined a sewing class last night and we had to measure each other to find our pattern size argh embarrassing my waist was 37 inches, I'm a bit tempted to make the dress a…

Hi all I'm 46, I lost over a 100lbs with mfp a while back and felt amazing, but lapsed and put so much back on I have 60lb to lose. Our hols are booked for the beginning of July so I'm feeling very motivated to do the best I can before then and fit into my summer clothes. I lurked last time, but would like to make some…

I don't think you'll need a plus size as most places do the tops and bottoms separately. I have loose skin on my stomach, but with bikini bottoms that come a little higher no one would know, Boden twist bikini bottoms have been the best ones I've bought, my friend swears by M&S, but I tried every one they did this summer…

I'm 5ft 3, 44 and was 244lb with an underactive thyroid and high blood pressure when I realised I had to change and didn't want to face a future of bad health, not being able to wear the clothes I liked and not wanting to go out and do things with my family. I counted calories and started taking walks every day come rain…

Think I win .....18lbs in 12 days  who knew that was physically possible, I did enjoy myself, but 18lb !!! I was back to it Monday and 5lb gone so far, I was only 3.5lb from goal and its now 16.5lb, no regrets though it will come back off quickly.

II did the detailed explanation in the beginning, but now unless they seem genuinely interested I usually just say "the old fashioned way I ate less and walked more" or if I really don't want to talk to them, some people can be quite rude I just say "I stopped eating" smile and change the subject. I often get the…

Fabulous! Well done everyone :) I no longer get any problems with my hiatus hernia, I'll never forget the constant indigestion from over eating. I don't keep everyone awake snoring I've reduced thyroid meds by nearly half BP has gone from sky high to slightly up Skin is a lot better, not so dry and the constant goosebumps…

1. Your emotional state improve? I think I cope with stress better, probably because I have more energy. 2. Your social life change? Not really, everyone wants to talk to me about weight loss though :0) 3. You feel like a better or different person? I feel I can express myself more, my daughter says I'm more outspoken. I…

I wore my goal jeans yesterday and my engagement ring, the ring I've not been able to wear for a good 10 years, can't wait until my wedding ring fits again :)
-
Well done everyone, love reading people successes  Mine is I've reached a healthy bmi weight, I started at morbidly obese. I can't wait for my Dr to log it when I next go.
-
I've had two people not recognise me this week, one stood there speechless with her mouth hanging open when I spoke to her :) I finally fit into my uk size 10 goal trousers.
-
I've gone from a 7 to a 6 and down to a normal width. All my shoes have had to go, expensive, but I was more excited by this than reaching some weight loss goals, I don't have fat feet anymore
-
As above I went to our farm feeds shop today to try lifting what I had lost, those 20kg bags are heavy! Try it. I started at 244 and made sure I had constant small goals and once I got under 200 The losses became more noticeable. Soon you will hit onederland that really is a fantastic feeling :)

Bread and butter pudding made with croissants, white chocolate and whisky, it's our fave dessert. For the kids I have the new Cadburys almond choc mousse cake.

Thanks for the reply I'm 5ft 3 too, so will be very happy if my stomach looks as great as yours. I've accepted I will have loose skin, I think with flattering bikini bottoms I can cover it easy enough as its so low down. They say 2 years to shrink back to your final result as well, which is encouraging. Thanks for sharing x
-
Well done to you both, it's great you are able to do it together  Do you mind me asking how tall you are? My stomach currently looks exactly like you before pic and my goal is 130 too so you are giving me hope mine could go as flat when I reach it.

Mine changes every few weeks, at the moment it's small boxes of dried fruit, mini chocolate hot cross buns and mini twister ice lollies.
-
Same here I'm 5ft 3 and 150, my goal has always been 140, but I think I may have to go a bit lower unless this last 10lb makes a huge difference, I'm a medium frame with no boobs left though lol. I don't like not knowing how much I have left to go, but I've sort of accepted I'm just going to have to get to 140 and then…

I started at 244 and it was over 40lb before anyone noticed, someone I see a few times a week told me this week at 95 lb down they had only just noticed, which gave me a laugh.

I just saw this and thought of you, they all look so good, but not sure if adding calories to a creme egg is the way to go lol  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2602829/Anyone-CREME-EGG-pizza-And-wacky-ways-cook-Easter-treat.html

It was a bit of a snowball effect for me, I'd been thinking for a few weeks maybe it was time to lose weight, but decided I really had to be sure I was committed to not just losing, but keeping the weight off forever as I'd lost 80 +lbs about 10 years ago and put it straight back on. Then a few things happened within a…

I've lost 85lbs and have another 26 to go. I started with a huge apron of fat and looked 9 months pregnant in clothes, now it's still there, but much smaller and low down and to reassure you it goes flat weraing fitted trousers or good underwear and no one would know it was there. As it's quite low down I even think I…

My Daughter was looking for me in the house and eventually finding me tutted "Its a pain since you lost weight as I can't hear you when you move anymore" lol

Bought new shoes and my feet have shrunk one and a half sizes :)

I was very awkward with it in the beginning, but I meet a lot of people in my job so the comments are constant and I've got used to dealing with it. Most people are lovely, one friend tells me every time I see her how fabulous I look and it puts a big smile on my face as its so genuine. Some do bug me though, I had someone…
