I am at 1300 calories a day. I did 1200, but whenever I went under I got that warning in red from MFP and it freaked me out. So I upped my calories to 1300, but I still try and keep closer to 1200. Feel free to add me.

What is a VLCD? I am on 1220 calories a day, which I think is low, but I also have A LOT of weight to lose. You need to take advice how it is - advice. How do you feel? Do you trust your doctor? Have you had any blood work to make sure your vitamin levels are acceptable? Good luck figuring it out.

This happened to me for the first week on my diet. But it went away. Try eating a "healthy snack" like baby carrots or celery when you start to get shaky. Hopefully yours will go away with time like mine did.

Good for you! It is so hard to go out of our comfort zones! I have a HUGE problem with portion size. That is probably my biggest food issue.
