Just wanted to thank everyone for their responses. As of today, I'm an official member of the local Y and summer classes start in June. I'm anxious, but I have a friend who joined with me so I'm excited to start trying some new workouts and to hopefully conquer my fear with a new love for working out!

Thank you all for the ideas! My coworker also mentioned that she freezes fruit for her water. Then it doubles as added flavor & help keeps it cold. Looks like I should have lots of ideas to try next month.

Working on giving up soda for sure. My problem with coffee is that I like the cold, blended fattening ones, however save it as a treat if I'm stuck working on the weekends. But I probably need to find something to replace those as well.

Thanks to all of you for responding! I've contacted a local YMCA to see if I can set up a meeting & get a tour. Things to do this weekend included updating the music on my Ipod & shopping for some workout clothes! One step at a time.....

THIS is what I know I need to do & I'm glad people can relate & that people have overcome their fears. I'm trying to get into a routine at home, but have you ever tried using a treadmill when your dog thinks its fun to put her toys on there b/c they go flying off the end or doing a DVD w/ a 70 lb dog trying to "play"…

I consider myself a pro at quitting smoking b/c I've done it so many times. Its the staying a non-smoker, I can't seem to manage. I think you have to look at it as "tomorrow is a new day!" Don't let slip ups discourage you from your long term goals!
