IDK what your food budget is, but I've had great success with Orawheat sandwich thins, 3 ox of turkey, a . 1/3 oz of white american cheese with dijon must. Couple this sandwich with some vanillia Greek yogurt, 65 grams of black berrys and I'm good 2 go, 380 calories.

It's it that point you'd have to reevaluate y'alls relationship. For if he is opposed to you becoming a better you, you have bigger problems that if you loose 20+ lbs.

I totally agree with using a restaurant's web menu to per-determine my choice prior to entering the establishment. I have in fact discounted possible establishments based upon what fits my eating profile. NEVER put yourself in a position to fail if at all possible. Planning is the key to success.

I had been resetting my goal every 10 lbs unitl til that last 3 suggestions. I reluctantly reset and it's been fine so far. My major gripe with MFP is that it retroactively resets ALL of my calorie goals from when I started making me look as if I wasn't compliant with the goals at that specific point in time. :-)

The main battle it already won Nicci. You realize that your weight is merely a symptom of deeper issues. As long as you focus on those issue, log every bite into your diary, and start walking; you'll win. Keep walking and talking, we'll be here.
