Thanks everyone! I do tend to log everything and have weigh my food just tend to over eat. I think I just got too relaxed with it all. When I first put the weight back on I changed my goal to 1lb a week which I'm finding so hard to stick to so I've now changed it back to 0.5lb a week so maybe it'll be more realistic so…

Hey there! I think that it's achievable or close to it at least! If you keep within your calories but make sure to eat your exercise calories back because of you don't you can plateau at times. Try to keep your diet varied too so that your body doesn't get too used to a certain diet (I.e not eating the exact same thing…

Thanks everyone. I've only just seen the latter comments. Great advice.

I'm deffo gonna try having eggs more for breakfast. I think when I go food shopping this weekend I'll need to take a better look at protein content of foods like yogurts etc. I'll maybe this for a week or so first to see if I can get my protein up then if not I'll try the powder! Thanks again!!

This is fab advice! Thanks you. Yes I think having a look at more variety of fish and chicken recipes. Don't mind cutting down on beef, usually have a steak once a week but that would probably be enough. And glad about the pork chops

Thanks so much for all of the advice it's great!

That's that's helped. I'm deffo gonna try the protein powder and maybe the egg recipes as above. Will look into the porridge for breky too. Is there more protein in oats?
-
Brilliant thanks. I'll maybe do some in bulk at weekend and start next week properly. I'll maybe just do a few hard boiled egg and put them on my toast or into salads more this week.
-
I've been looking at protein powder, it would be good to be able to add it to things. What else can you add it to? Also is it high in calories as I'm stilling trying to eat at a slight deficit?
-
Great thanks I'll maybe try the burrito and egg sandwich. Do you just take it out of the freezer the night before?
-
Thanks I'll maybe have a look at getting that!
-
Thanks that's a great summary. Yeah that's an idea I'll maybe add kettlebell swings. I was thinking of maybe adding hanging knee lifts for core too - do you think I need to? I do the whole circuit 3 times. Should I add this to for as I am able. At the minute I couldn't physical do it but maybe in a week or so?

Thanks for this advice. Really encouraging. I am feeling better and getting compliments which is good. Haven't lost inches yet but that's maybe the way to go with tracking changed. Thanks

Yes I'm eating at a deficit of 250 cals a day but to be honest I've eating pretty much at maintenance for this week but I usually eat at a deficit. Yes to be fair I have seen some changes in my arms (biceps, pecs and deltoids) but still have belly fat which I'm holding the deficit and the high intensity of the workout will…

Thanks everyone. All great advice there. Love the advice about carrying around 30lbs, really puts into perspective what I've lost already. I suppose the more pressure I put on myself to stay with it the harder it'll be. I've been doing this for 2 years so I guess I just need to have faith that I'll get back into!!

Thanks for all the advice! That's great! Yeah you're right I don't want to be a bodybuilder and do it drastically so probably measurement are the way to go. I need to get over my focus on the scale. I'll check out that website now - thanks guys!

Yeah noodles sound good and the chopped veggies with dip. Might get some celery. Thanks

I try my best to stick within my calories where food is concerned although my macros aren't as good because I eat more junk. I usually don't exercise as much/at all for about 2-3 days because I get quite sick and crampy.

I'm really motivated and yes it varies based on things that are going on in my life but for the days that maybe you aren't in the mood it's good to see what other are up to and think to yourself I can still do this. The main reason I like having friends on this is to share success stories, ideas and recipies etc. But for…

A lot of the people there will have been in the same situation and had to start somewhere. You will on day be where they are so you just need to stick with it and remember it's feeling like this is what has motivated you to go to the gym in the first place! Good luck with your journey. I'm 21lbs down and its thanks to MFP…

I've had hypothyroidism since birth and it's gone up and down but I find that if I keep taking the medication, weigh everything and keep within my allowance it works and no different to others. Good luck with it!

I know how you feel, I lost 20lbs over a period of time but my measurements didn't change. However I did drop a dress size after a bit so you may find that. I don't understand how the measurements don't go down though! I feel your pain.

This is amazing love it! Definitely going to have to recreate!

Chicken, peppers, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes is a winner. Add some basil, garlic and oregano. Serve with pasta. It was one of the main dishes I made at uni. The herbs and spices will never be wasted if she get a few essentials in.

I've got weight watchers digital scales and they are good. Little 'feet' come off so you can use on tiles or carpet.
-
Waheyy good for you! Smaller sized clothes is the most rewarding part of this whole journey in my opinion

This is a great idea! Might try this with marmalade so I get the best of both worlds!
