I've always been told that the older the egg is, the better it works. Bring to a boil, I boil for a few minutes and then leave them in the water for a while. I always add vinegar to the water before boiling too.

Bump. Now all I have to do is find my food processor!

Bump...never made my own before but we love egg rolls! Thanks so much!

I must be part of this thread since I'm like many of you! I try to keep it to a weekend of drinks, but now the nicer weather is here and when I'm working outside, it's hard to not want a nice cold beer when taking a break!

Mmmm peanut butter on a spoon! Thanks for sharing!

Bump, my family is very fond of muffins, this looks like such a great recipe, thanks!

Hi there, I have roughly the same goals as you do and am on a 1200 calorie plan...I do occasionally go over, and sometimes under, but I try, and that's why we're here, right? Feel free to add me and we'll get some meal ideas from each other!

Welcome to MFP Tiff! Glad you're here! I know now it'll get much more interesting with both you and Missy here (Yes, people are just here for my amusement) LOL!

Bump. Something for me to remind myself of. Thanks!

Randee, my mom uses chia seeds on lots of things, she loves it. She didn't really tell me about the taste though. My nephew has "inside the guts" problems and she started giving it to him, worked like a charm. No more stomach pains and he's "going" like a healthy kid should, even though he doesn't always eat right.

I have heard nothing but good things about flax seed. I just started taking it yesterday. If you don't mind the taste of the oil, you can use it in place of butter/margarine or your salad dressings. It's a healthy alternative that helps you lose, can't go wrong!

You asked a good question. I was wondering that as well....it tells us our calorie allowance, but once we burn some off, the number goes back up! I'm just going by the allowance they've given me, and only counting the food calorie intake, and everything I've burned will be a bonus. (I know, not an answer to your question!)

That is awesome! How often did you do it? What else did you do to help lose weight? I need all the hints I can get! Keep up the great work!
