Just started Max 30. Did classic at the start of last year and got near my ideal weight. Was really happy with results. Started Max 30 and did not pass month 2, fell off the wagon. Getting back in now. This is day 3 of week 1.

Morning! Sunny morning to you all.

Don't worry too much, just start weighing. Once you start weighing you will self regulate on the cereals as you figure out the portion sizes. Sort out your calories first then the rest can follow.
-
A week is a bit early to be getting frustrated. We all want it quick but it takes time. Works definitely give it longer and make sure you are weighing and logging everything. Perception is often different from actual. BTW have never come across anyone who had a body comp change in a week. Give it a month and log and weigh

thread title and debate about the science of calorie deficit - lol

You have some self image issues there. By the sound of it you are fine but need to start believing it yourself
-
Always tough if you can't sleep, brings out the binge monkeys, especially if you are stressed. I brush my teeth and keep drinking lots of water to keep me sane at such times
-
That is the right reason. Having some one say great is needed to keep us going. Also helps to know that someone is looking over your shoulder. Feel free to add me

You are not alone. I still have times where I struggle to keep enthused. I was on MFP for a year and then slipped off and just could not get myself going again. At the point my trousers became tight again it spurred me into action. Starting from the beginning though was difficult. MFP friends will help.

Personal experience here, the first couple of weeks we throw ourselves into the exercise and change in eating routine but we overdo the exercise and under eat to get results fast. Within a couple of weeks we feel a little lethargic and less obsessed with the eating less. Make sure you weigh/measure the food, as an eyeball…

Don't give her such a hard time. It's good to talk and ask questions. Would make mfp boring if we just looked it all up online. Think of it like mystery hour.

Hi All Very inspiring. My wife has been diagnosed with arthritis and takes to exercise gingerly now as she may end up in pain the next day. How do you all manage the pain and keep to the exercise? Thanks Spencer
-
From experience, if you are not living as you eat or planning up front your meals, then you are estimating how much you are eating and thus calories intake. Start by Weighing as it will surprise how much a usual portion is

@katesmith222 don't worry about getting all the moves perfect. It will come a you keep doing it. Took me a good while to get the moves properly, even some of the stretching. Most of the time was just enough trying to keep up and keep sweat out of my eyes. Don't give up, the regret is worse than the aches and pains.

How is your maxed out times going? Improving noticeably?
-
Hi Nick, good luck with it. Always hard to keep going when changing environment
-
I am doing the insanity max 30 now. Just in the first week and feeling it.
-
Just started up. Did tabata power today. Really felt it half way through. The abs work finished me off.
-
Only a problem if you are binge eating later. I generally have either porridge or weetabix+yougurt for breakfast

It's the days you don't feel like doing it that you will have to force yourself. Make sure you have a piece of clothing that is tight now. Within 4weeks it won't be, provided you keep the calories balanced.
