Breakfast food

ok so I love shreddies (malt wheats tesco) I have them every morning without fail, I was under the impression cereals are a healthy breakfast option but from starting this app it seems there not!

What do you guys eat for breakfast please give me some ideas thanks because it seems I'm eating way too many carbs!

    I have 2 eggs (whole, none of this whites only *kitten*). and a rotation of other stuff like greek yogurt, oatmeal, whole wheat toast, or turkey sausage.

    Isn't Yoghurt quite fattening :/ would it be better to have the fat instead of the carbs

    If you're going above your carb macro, that's really not a big deal as long as you are under your calories, have no medical conditions, and aren't hungry.

    That being said, many people find protein and fat to be more filling than just carbs. I like eggs and sausage for breakfast with an english muffin or slice of toast to get my carb fix.

    Yes I'm always under calories and I only seem to be going over on the carbs but I can't help it I really love my shreddies a bowl of oatmeal doesn't sound very appealing to me lol

    It's fattening when you eat too much of it.

    Did you weigh your cereal on a food scale? If it fits into your goals, fine. And how did you calculate your macros? I'm over on carbs many days and still lost 30 lbs

    Calculate macros? Isn't that what the app does OMG I'm so lost

    It does it for you but you can change it based on your goals. Don't worry. It's okay. Start with weighing all your food and logging accurately. If you go over on a certain macro, you'll be fine. Just stay in a deficit.

    Don't touch the cereal full of junk. An sugers.. Change to Oat meal. Get eggs.if u train in the mornings have a protein shake. And bust the weights in the gym.

    Don't worry too much, just start weighing. Once you start weighing you will self regulate on the cereals as you figure out the portion sizes. Sort out your calories first then the rest can follow.
