I don't like the taste of stevia either, I use truvia for certain things.

I agree with the poster who mentioned the EatSmart scale. Most accurate one I've ever owned. Personally, I prefer to weigh myself once a week while losing weight. I may switch to daily when I reach goal and am maintaining.

I have better control with whole grain and whole wheat bread. This goes for pasta, rice, and potatoes too. Whole grain, brown, and sweet potatoes satisfy me more. White carbs usually equal a binge for me.

That's the one. Thank you Robert. I appreciate everyone's input on this subject.

That was suppose to say easy PEASY. Thank you autocorrect.

Pork or chicken and a jar of salsa. Serve over rice with a side salad. Easy least, and the leftovers are great.

Thanks wolfman.

I was going to suggest speaking with your doctor as well, but since you already have, and your mind was not put at ease I'll offer my 2 cents. My situation with my second pregnancy was very similar to yours. (The baby is about to turn 34 years old). I was very overweight and in the process of losing when I got…

You mentioned that you used B vitamins with success. Why not try that again? I find a big difference in my energy (and mood) when I take B complex.

I like it! I mix it with almond milk instead of water, the consistency is much creamier.

I thought they were just okay. Totally not worth the price to me. Think Thin bars are better all around, in my opinion. Protein and fiber with less sugar and calories. I always carry one in my bag for busy work days or hunger emergencies.

Guess I should have checked out the numbers before jumping in. Thanks for pointing that out.

I guess I stand corrected. A couple of times. I guess with none of being 'experts' and not having all information (that's why I asked some questions) we're each going to offer advice based on experience and outcome.

I figured if she's hungry then she needs to eat more. Even after just one week if you're hungry and discouraged then you're asking for trouble, possibly binge eating. This is just my opinion from experience, trial and error. I have over 80 more pounds to lose. If I had started out at 1400 calories I would have been hungry.…

How much do you weigh now, and how much do you want to lose? Maybe you need to up the calories a bit? Make sure you're eating lots of protein, snack on fruit and veggies when you're hungry. Believe it or not you have to eat to lose.
-
Exactly.

Oh thank god someone else said it. I thought I was the only one seeing the same dead horse being beat over and over and over. Again.

I'm a little confused. You don't have an extra hour to take care of something so important as communicating to your husband, but if you add up all the time it takes for you to type out these posts, and write a blog etc? And all the advice you're offered... you always seem to have a reason to disagree. The patience of these…

When co-workers offer me something to eat then ask if it's something I can work into my daily plan. Thank goodness for supportive peeps.

I like the Think Thin Protein and Fiber. Honestly I'm not sure about the carbs, but the sugar is low, the protein is high, and the calories are reasonable. And they taste great. I don't use them as a meal replacement very often, but always keep one in my bag.

Ditto. This works well for me too.

If it's important you'll find a way, if not you'll find an excuse.
-
Nut butter (I prefer almond butter) and banana rolled up in a multigrain tortilla or flatbread.
-
Ditto this

It's all such a personal choice. You like this but not that, but something very similar may go either way. Try a new fruit and vegetable every few days if you can. I don't care for mangos, but love melons and nectarines. There is such a variety, just be adventurous!

This family loves tacos too! One of our absolute favorites is fish tacos. Grilled seasoned tilapia with salsa on a corn tortilla... ok now my mouth is watering. Taco seasoning, even with beef or chicken doesn't have to be the packaged high sodium stuff. Just add whatever spices you like.

Try making this with unsweetened almond milk instead of water, so yummy and adds only 35 calories.

I don't count coffee or almond milk, but I do count herbal tea, along with regular water.

Usually between 350 to 450, depending what I make. I try to aim for high protein/high fiber. This morning I had a light multigrain English muffin with egg white, low sodium ham, pepper jack cheese and tomato. So good and filling. Later for a snack I'll have Greek yogurt and some fruit. Maybe it's your food choices that's…
