I am down 2.5 lbs since I posted this on May 21st. It's slow but steady so I am pleased.

I find at different points during my weight loss I have felt the same way. I think I feel this way when I lose inches from a specific area and I don't appear "balanced" when I see myself in the mirror. This never lasts long so hang in there. Your body is changing it just doesn't happen all over at the same rate.

I love the Smart For Life  Protein Bars.

One week in and no weight loss. I have been having some *ahem* bowel issues lately and I take something to help things along it works but the next day everything is once again at a standstill. I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I get plenty of fibre. I exercise so I'm stumped. Trying to eat so my net calories after…

I am currently struggling with the same issue. The problem is once I have a drink or two I find myself mindlessly snacking and going way over my daily goal so I've decided to stop drinking while I am still trying to lose a significant amount of weight.

I also weigh and measure everything!!

When I started tracking my food it was a huge eye opener. Once I realized how much I was eating and how my choices were not satisfying once I ate the proper portions I made changes to my meals that allow me to eat enough to feel satisfied and still stay within my daily goal. Exercise has bee key and I also purchased a…

You can do this! You have the right attitude. Once I accepted that I was responsible for my weight and stopped using excuses, I forgave myself and started making better choices. I wish you all the best and am confident you got this.

You should feel "fab" because you definitely look it!!!

sounds good to me.

Reading your post was like reading all about what's been going on with me the last month or so. I was hesitant to post because of all the differing opinions out there as well. Thank you so much for the info.

I am drooling just thinking about making these. Thank you so much for sharing not only the recipe but the pictures too!

I have made this myself with raspberries many times. It is delicious and very filling. I have never heated the fruit but I will definitely try it.

Weighed this morning and was down 3 lbs from 2 weeks ago. I will start this challenge from today so starting at 219 lbs. I am aiming for 1 - 2 lbs a week so 214 lbs in a month..........

Wow! You have had a lot to deal with. I can't help with the sculpting but if you need a friend to encourage you let me know. I would recommend seeing a dietician to help you set a calorie goal and maybe assist with foods that would be good for your Gastroparesis. I wish you well. I hope you can find others who have some…

You can add me. Start by remembering why you want to lose weight. Write is on an index card and every time you feel discouraged read it and remind yourself of what you want. You can do this. You will have bad days but what you do when those days happen is what counts.

Yep.

My motivation to lose weight was my health. 6 months ago I was on 2 different medications for my Blood Pressure and my liver was so fatty it was starting to scar and die. I had severe acid reflux, was constantly out of breath and super depressed. I was fortunate enough to be referred to a Bariatric Clinic and that was how…

My name is Dana. I am 44 years old, 5"8 and currently weigh 219 lbs. I have already lost 60 lbs in the last 6 months and have 40 more to go until I reach my goal. I am excited about having a group of women with a similar goal to converse with.

Awesome!! You can see a big difference in the pictures. Keep it up!!:flowerforyou:

I am 44 and started MFP six months ago. I track my food every day and for the most part stay within my calorie goal. I started exercising and now walk briskly on the treadmill for an hour every day. I have tried to develop strategies for emotional eating and have lost 60 lbs so far.

This says it all!

Taco Salad was likely loaded with salt and you have retained water. Keep on track and in a few days you will see everything is fine.
